Anytime you claim the saddle body you should disconnect the battery cables hold them together for 33 minutes negative and positive for two or three minutes reconnect him that’s a car run for five minutes and then drive it at normal speed to relearn the throttlebody and shifting

Texans rise up! 🤘🏻 I need to do this to my 07’ GT. Been having some pretty bad throttle issues since moving to AZ in the mountains. Used some Lucas injector cleaner and doing both of these hopefully to solve the issue before I do sparks. Praying it’s not my cams

So u wanna spray muddy carbon into the intake instead of doing it right and taking 2 extra minutes to unbolt the throttle body? And u can mess up the motor of the digital throttle just by opening it up fast and letting it slam shut. U don't gain 10 horsepower lol your just getting it back to baseline. But yes you should keep it clean and a catch can will help

Take that throttle body off the intake manifold, take the time to give it a real good cleaning all the way around. It'll also give you a chance to make sure the TB seal is still in tact.
