I just made this for my family yesterday, and it was fabulous! I am new to using an instant pot, and your video was done very well. Your instructions were perfect and easy to follow. The only thing I would add is what setting you used for cooking. I chose the meat/stew option which seemed logical, but for beginners it would be good to know that during instructions. Thank you!

Thank u for the recipe. I was not sure the way to put items in, thanks to u I now know. My pork roast is already seasoned and has been precooked, so all I need to do is add the veggies on top of the roast. I plan on sauteing my mirepoix first in coconut oil and will use homemade chicken broth like u did. Have a great evening!

Am I the only one that uses my hands as measuring spoons? I wash my hands and just stick my fingers in the garlic and pull out when the ancestors tell me it's enough. Same with the dry ingredients. Tip: add some corn starch to the chicken broth and it helps thicken up that gravy while it cooks! Making fir supper tonight and ALWAYS forget the cook time, so youtube it is!

Handy hint.....use wooden utensils instead of metal, to prevent damage to the pot. Nice recipe.

At what temperature do you cook this
@CountryFamilyValues2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I generally keep it simple by using the “Manual” button…which automatically sets the temperature. Your model may have the “Pressure Cook” button instead. Then, for this particular recipe, I set the Timer for 40 minutes (because I had cut the meat into smaller pieces). I hope that answers your question.

Is your IP a 6 or an 8 quart? TIA

I have both, but used the 8 quart for this one. Thanks for the question!

What function did you cook it with when you kept it at 40 mins?

Hi! I used the "Manual" button (Pressure Cook button on some models.)

Looks really good and tasty. But, I would definitely cut off a lot of that extra fat on that pork
@CountryFamilyValues3 жыл бұрын
You raise a good point. I often trim if there's a lot of excess fat. This time, I allowed it for flavor during cooking, and trimmed what I didn't want on the plate. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
