Have extra fun with the noodles by topping them with actual buldak chicken then wonder why you’re excreting fluid from every face orifice while eating the very spicy chicken atop very spicy noodles. Fr though my default is the standard flavor then adding bacon + corn + some third thing at the end. The corn helps provide little pockets of relief from the heat. Chopping up kimchi actually makes a pretty good third option, though I like mushrooms/zucchini more.

I’ve also noticed that the spice packets are so spicy that even the outside of fresh unopened packets are already pretty spicy. It could just be sloppy production, getting the spice on the outside of the packet too. But I think it’s just so spicy that enough of the capsaicin molecules are traveling through to end up spicy on the other side. Not sure why they didn’t fix this, just gotta change whatever material the packet is

@@Tinil0 I'm personally in my late 20s and the sarcasm and jagged editing gets a good chuckle out of me. Don't know about teens, but I get what you mean, I can see how it might appeal to them. I'm glad you tried watching this and you are an example of how one can dislike something but be polite about it. I don't think that saying "Don't like? Don't watch!" is wrong, but after a while, people repeat it mindlessly even when there is no offense behind the comment. Being critical is not wrong, just like it can be wrong to criticise without any substance behind the critique. If you aren't inflammatory when it's not needed, I think everything can be said.

Instant ramen hacks for y'all: 1) Samyang (Buldak) makes plain packaged ramen which you can find for half the price of the individually packaged flavoured ones. So if you want a halfway between instant ramen and making your own sauces/broths, it's handy - just keep some spices and sauces on hand. Buldak even has some of their hot chicken sauces in bottles! 2) Poaching an egg and quickly wilting some spinach while you boil your noodles adds some protein and nutrients without adding much effort. If you don't mind a little bit of effort in advance, you can make "ramen eggs" to have on hand. Signed, someone who works too much for too little and doesn't have a ton of cooking energy (also mi goreng does slap)

There is no way to cleanse one's palette after eating Raman noodles except for 24 hours, a few liters of water and a nice toothbrushing. I'd like Ian to have done this with a heart rate and blood pressure monitor. Truly, Ian is the steve-o of cheap food tasting.

As a resident guy of Vietnamese descent man here. Squeezing a bit of fresh lime into Pho is pretty common to balance out the salty flavors with a bit of sour. It is also pretty common to tear some mint leaves for some freshness. I personally usually don't as I like the more salty flavor on its own.

i pretty much dislike any with those cellophane noodles (some call them glass noodles) if it says bún tàu or miến dong on the package it's an instant skip. there's just something about it that isn't appetizing about the actual noodle itself, no matter how tasty you try and make them. i could put fresh ingredients in any other normal chicken flavor instant ramen. but hey, that's the thing about food opinions, i must accept most people don't like licorice as a scandinavian that eats it daily, if you grow up with it you just learn to love it.

Vegetarian here! Yes all noodles are vegetarian, but not all seasonings are. Most chicken or beef flavoring packets have dehydrated beef and chicken stock essentially which isn't vegetarian. Vegetarian noodles just use a vegetable broth base for their flavor instead of a bone broth or something (The best vegetarian instant noodles are the shin green mushroom and fried tofu, its a life changer)
