Have extra fun with the noodles by topping them with actual buldak chicken then wonder why you’re excreting fluid from every face orifice while eating the very spicy chicken atop very spicy noodles. Fr though my default is the standard flavor then adding bacon + corn + some third thing at the end. The corn helps provide little pockets of relief from the heat. Chopping up kimchi actually makes a pretty good third option, though I like mushrooms/zucchini more.
@monhi642 ай бұрын
I’ve also noticed that the spice packets are so spicy that even the outside of fresh unopened packets are already pretty spicy. It could just be sloppy production, getting the spice on the outside of the packet too. But I think it’s just so spicy that enough of the capsaicin molecules are traveling through to end up spicy on the other side. Not sure why they didn’t fix this, just gotta change whatever material the packet is

Instant ramen hacks for y'all: 1) Samyang (Buldak) makes plain packaged ramen which you can find for half the price of the individually packaged flavoured ones. So if you want a halfway between instant ramen and making your own sauces/broths, it's handy - just keep some spices and sauces on hand. Buldak even has some of their hot chicken sauces in bottles! 2) Poaching an egg and quickly wilting some spinach while you boil your noodles adds some protein and nutrients without adding much effort. If you don't mind a little bit of effort in advance, you can make "ramen eggs" to have on hand. Signed, someone who works too much for too little and doesn't have a ton of cooking energy (also mi goreng does slap)

The best instant noodle out there? Indomie mi goreng noodles. More sauced than a soup noodle but MAN are they goooooood.

Those are awesome. I wish I could have the same seasoning on a slightly thicker noodle, but they're still my favorite

Every time I see a new Ian video, I think, "Man, I miss the old Ian videos" and then I watch it and get swept away by the chill vibes and the style that never went away. I'm sure I'll say the same thing about these food videos if he ever switched back to games. It's been a cool ride, and I'm just happy to be one eye in the sea of many who bore witness to this over the years.

Vegetarian here! Yes all noodles are vegetarian, but not all seasonings are. Most chicken or beef flavoring packets have dehydrated beef and chicken stock essentially which isn't vegetarian. Vegetarian noodles just use a vegetable broth base for their flavor instead of a bone broth or something (The best vegetarian instant noodles are the shin green mushroom and fried tofu, its a life changer)
@kingarkay2 ай бұрын
his comment made me depressed as also a vegetarian often disappointed reading the ingredients lists of ramen that look like they're going to be vegetarian and then aren't Indomie Mi Goreng is actually vegetarian so it also contends for best vegetarian noodle my other favorites are Paldo Bibimmen and Buldak Carbonara!!
