We had people try and eat with there fingers and eat off the serving spoon, to which we would go out and have throw the whole pan of food away. No matter have many times we would tell people not to they would still contaminate the food. The food bars were taken away during covid shut down mainly for that reason. We also had issues with people stealing our serving spoons and sometimes even whole pans of food. At certain times of the day the bars would go half price and people would fight each other and push each other out of the way just to get to the half priced food. i commented smth similar without combing much through the comments to see whether anyone else had said the same thing and fortunately there are quite a few saying similar things, enough i would think the criticism should have gotten "heard". i found it a kind of surprising take, but i also find caleb/oompa relatable in a lot of ways that i find rare and apparently unrelatable to most people, which i've assumed to be a neurodivergence thing, and in this particular instance i feel like i potentially relate - a potentially contingent on a totally speculative scenario that occasionally happens to me, wherein i will say something that, either upon further reflection or upon someone else's critical remark, immediately strikes me as completely wrong in a way that i am or should be and normally am fully cognizant of, and i feel like, wow how did i briefly think that. feels like glitching out, or more accurately more often like brief amnesia. in the most extreme cases i'll be like, that is something i would think and/or say when i was 9, maybe 13 years old max, and then all of a sudden a decade or two's worth of life experience, of learning and thinking surges up and flashes before my eyes, a lifetime's worth of knowledge spelling out in no uncertain terms how wrong i am and how well i know that and live my life in accordance with that knowledge. and putting aside whatever embarrassment i may feel while trying to apologize and explain that somehow my interpretive abilities, my ego and my Bewusstsein regressed seemingly to a backup from several lifetimes ago for a moment there, i am overcome with a feeling of dread as i realize that nothing prevents such slippage, and try as one may, one is never truly master of one's own home; but at the same time, all one _can_ do is try, even if perhaps at the end of the endless day it may be indistinguishable from prayer. for all i know tomorrow i will read this as though it were written by a different me again, maybe even an altogether different person, a stranger. i suppose time may tell sometime

8:50 no sorry they’re just a person who clearly is trying to provoke people who want to have a space for people with similar difficult experiences. It’s no different than an eating disorder support group or any other queer support group . Bro knew exactly what he was doing, and he didn’t prove any huge point by doing so.

I've always felt like a support character for the main character - the cheeky one that tells them when they're being a moron.

People have a very misconception about what identity is, you cannot identify as an object or a condition the same way that you identify with your gender or sexuality, there's a difference between something that's objective and something that's subjective and as much obvious that sounds people seem to confuse those... being fat, being white or black, having ginger hair color, being Hispanic or Chinese, those are objective things but someone that's 80Lbs saying "I identify as fat" or people saying "I identify as a cat" are people that are either making fun of Transgender people or just making a Satire about it... The same way people that is 30yo cannot say "Oh, but i identify as a teenager", that's also not real and just plain stupid or grotesque.

Yeah the guy obviously knew that and was making that “joke” to mock LGBTQ people. I can’t believe they called it interesting. Especially Kris.

@@MaxSoininen I mean they ignored the blatant bigotry of saying “I identity as ___”. Also, his behavior ISNT interesting. It’s the same old joke for literally the ten millionth time. I’m not mad at them necessarily, I’m just saying their take was weird and kind of hollow

Listen. My current pfp as of the posting of this comment is me kissing my ex fiancé. He called it off after over a year of engagement, I already had my wedding dress ready because we were weeks away from getting married. Everything was coming together. He was very distant, but I didn't think much of it at the time. He left. I've never been the same. I'm struggling to heal even though it's been over a year and a half. I still have my Facebook pfp of us, I still have us listed as engaged, I still have us as my lock screen and wallpaper. I struggle. I relate to that poor woman who was trying to treat herself after her man walked out on her. The tears are painful, but important. Grieving is natural and necessary. I wish her nothing but the best. I hid the truth from my best friend for over a year. Most people don't know what happened or that we're even separated. It took me MONTHS to come clean to my close family and friends.

It sounds like you're pretty delusional & need to go to therapy. Y'all aren't together, haven't been together for 1.5 years... keeping your relationship status & PFP as if you're still together is VERY strange & cringe. No offense, but get with reality & realize he's gone & never coming back. Holding onto him isn't going to bring you any kind of joy. Move on. You deserve better.
