Hope you feel better soon. I remember many times crawling around areas like that trying to put insulation bats in the joist bays and then trying to staple a vapor barrier over it all. What a mess... No tyvek suits back then. Just clothes that you usually threw out when you were through lol...

I agree with the vapor barrier. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the ars or it's super easy and it goes up perfect

Hope you are feeling better, I was thinking of using the froth pacs instead of hiring the foam crew again, last job they had to fix stuff and still left a ladder , respiratory and goggles and I had to clean up the mess they left, so how do u like putting it on, don't look to bad, still can get costly. But I like mineral wool also. Good work as always, respect u guys . Also thinking of getting the Milwaukee framer , boy they don't seem light, do u guys like it ?

For small jobs the froth paks are the way to go. I’d never do an entire house with it though, I think it would end up costing more than hiring a crew and not be as consistent. The framer is nice, it is heavier than every pneumatic gun on the market but it is just as fast which is why I switched to that over the old paslode.

Why did you need to poly if you used spray foam, isn’t that your air/vapor barrier.
@TheRealBeardedBuilder3 жыл бұрын
I was talking about poly one the walls where the faced batts had the face removed. We didn’t do any poly under the floor.
