The line item you used called “flashing - sill flashing - moldable tape” appears misused in your estimate. I am guessing you estimated for the entire perimeter of each window and door opening. That’s why the cost you have is so high. It should only be used at the sill (bottom) of the window. I know you will use zip tape, but the sill tape from is a different type. There is a different line item selection for the right, left, and top zip tape application. It’s a much lower dollar amount. A good adjuster will catch that.

How often do you get tape around windows bought? Has anyone else got this approved?

Hi Chad! Question, I noticed that when I received my insurance estimate the pricing list was from the date of loss and not from the date of when we were actually hired to process the claim or even started the Job, which was actually almost 5 months later, date of loss was 5/19 date of claim processing was 11/19 so pricing was way off! how can we have them change the pricing list to a later date? or whats the best way to go about it? thanks dude, you're the man!!!!
