My new head canon is that Phasmophobia comes with not 3, but 4 teams. Normally, there’s the first, which collects info about it like the name, the second is you, finding out the type using the first’s info, and then the last, which executes the ghost using your info. My head canon is that before the first team investigates, there’s another team that investigates if there’s even a ghost there or not. This game would be you playing as my head canon’s first team.

You need to make sure there are a lot of interesting things to see and that they show up frequently enough to balance the smaller, quieter moments of intense focus (but not so often that they lose their impact). I'd say you need three levels of anomalies: 1. Big, scary ones, like intruders 2. Medium ones, like a table disappearing or an extra plant showing up 3. Tiny ones that are really hard to spot but make you feel like a genius when you do, like a salt shaker in the wrong position or a tiny eyeball in a vase in the corner And keep in mind: variety! Mix it up, a lot.

Honestly, I think Observation Duty 5 *nailed it,* so anyone making a knock-off game should start by studying that one. Look at everything it does right, and then think about what you can add that would make a meaningful contribution to the genre.

Yeah, I'm not sure if anything is bugged or unfinished, but it was a shame to see this dev add some twists like the EMF and manually turning the camera and not do anything with them. The apartment hallway in particularly was begging for an intruder to appear in either the left or right areas.

I want to see an observation duty like game where you click on the object to circle it, click report, and then a men in black team runs into the room and you watch them corect the anomaly. The number of guys who come in is random 1-5 and anyone not doing anyhting will search the room for other anomalies so you have a chance of fixing multiple at the same time. To balance it, there's more highly dangerous anomalies that can happen.

To this day, the "observation duty" game I like the most, outside of the main Observation duty series, is Deathwatch. Having your room as part of the game and the code hunt are some very clever ideas (although the flashlight could use more duration there)... Also it's cheap.

I have more than 1 toaster. I have one for 2 slices, and one for 4 slices. I personally use the 2 one when I eat brekkie, but when the family is gathered to eat brekkie we use the 4 slot one instead, because it takes less time for us to wait until the toast is done, I still use the 2 slot in addition as well. Because it's really neat to be able to have different doneness levels on the toasts.

Considering you can make a quick 10 second jump forward and backwards at exactly 42:41 to 42:51 (using J and L on keyboard); I flipped between the 2 freeze-frames before and after the anomaly report, and either the game was bugged and that was a lucky guess *or* you *have* to look around to see some anomalies.
