FYI - The discount code isn't active anymore, but Intek is going through some website rebuilds and other cool stuff and is offering some cool options. Hit me with an email if you are interested in the bar.... joegray@garagegymcompetition.com

Yeah, I picked up that multi grip camber from Fringe for like &168 during Black Friday. It’s a screaming deal.

Same, only hourglass multi grip bar on the market from what I can find
@JoeyLisano7 ай бұрын
I have the T-Grip angled and single neutral versions with fixed sleeves. (I believe they will be brought back soon with a different supplier.) They are my go-to for overhead press and bent rows. The narrow center section is perfect for dodging the head and knees. It's more ergonomic for my shoulders than a straight bar. I can use them for bench press, but I was intrigued by the camber designs. I now have the Rep bar, Rogue MG4CN, and EliteFTS American cambered bar. I'm not sure yet if I will downsize or keep all 3; each is slightly different. The extra ROM is massive stimulus for a chest pump.

DANG... the collector of multi grip bars. That is fantastic.
@timk82587 ай бұрын
Didn’t realize the reps direct and AB bars were no longer available. Both of those designs look like they would give a lot more clearance on OHP vs this bar with the big square logo area in the middle.
@GrayMatterLifting7 ай бұрын
Yeah the REPS DIRECT bar is honestly the best design I've ever seen. I just assume they never made it big, so once more manufacturers popped up they lost whatever market share they had. Unfortunate... But someone mentioned that the AB bars were going to be produced again soon, so that's an interesting idea

awesome review - this seems to be right up my alley!

Good in depth review with some high end production shots! Interesting how they tried to get the best of both cambered and flat bars

Thanks man. Yeah when I first talked to them, I was honestly confused that they didn't choose a camber. But they told me "don't worry" ... They did a good job

Pretty cool bar, but man, that's pretty pricey! I have the elitefts American Cambered Grip Bar and love it. It's reasonably priced and goes on sale from time to time. Great video, loving the content bro!
@GrayMatterLifting7 ай бұрын
I totally agree. Before it was launched, I talked to Intek about the price. Told them it was more costly than any other bar on the market.
@meisdetermined7 ай бұрын
The united fit camber bar is a much much better bar in my opinion. I recognize that some people may not want the extra depth, but I think for most people do united fit bar is better. I do like that the Intek bar has neutral grips on the outside. My preference would be for the neutral grips to be on the outside, and then angled grips on the inside. At that price point, I would just buy the Rogue one and tailor the handles to my liking.
@GrayMatterLifting7 ай бұрын
I've had a couple people mention that bar to me. I remember seeing it back when it was first launched, but then nothing after that. My guy @flexmarksthespot has it and enjoys it. When I was doing some googling it didn't even show up, so I think the company likely needs to do a little work from a marketing side to get that info out there, cause the adjustable options are a really cool idea.
@andersonhirt7 ай бұрын
In my opinion a multigrip bar needs a wide grip handle! At least for me, that's where my shoulders hurt the most on a straight bar. EFTS wins in that regard I think, although I swapped out my efts bar for a 4cn when they went on sale. With extra holes the 4cn can have grips as wide as the efts although it's pretty close to the sleeve nut.
@GrayMatterLifting7 ай бұрын
Are you using the wide grip to replicate the wide grip on bench, just without the strain?
@djspell29287 ай бұрын
I think it'd be more competitive if it was cambered, but nice review!
@GrayMatterLifting7 ай бұрын
Thats the fun one right... they on purpose didn't want the camber, and I'm ok with that. I didn't find the Kadi beneficial for me personally.
