matt alan... 'That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.' (John 17:21). In the above verse Jesus describes two relationships; the first is between Jesus and the Father, and the second is between Jesus, the Father and the disciples. The first relationship is described as 'thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee' The second is described as 'they also may be one in us' So, these two relationships cannot be described as exactly the same. And as such, you cannot claim divinity for the disciples.
