For anyone who is extra out of shape like me, I recommend starting with a playground ball/ kickball that you can get from Wal-Mart for a few bucks. I happened to have it from physical therapy and it worked perfectly. P.S. LOVE THE LIGHTER COLOR! Black attracts all my dogs fluff.

I am extra overweight and started with the weight ball. Don't be afraid of the pain. Its only TEMPORARY! I'm only on my 4th day! I hope you continued to do this. I have yet to come across anyone who stuck with this.
@merandareast25522 жыл бұрын
@@stevo88071 a workout should make you feel it and should make you uncomfortable but it shouldn’t hurt. Pain suggests something is wrong/injured. Super important to listen to our bodies. Pain is bad. Discomfort is good. We are already using chairs, let’s not put ourselves in a worse position. Fitness takes time and dedication. Give yourself that time. It can be frustrating and, of course, we all want to see instant results but that’s not how fitness works. Take the time your body needs to build up. Pushing too hard, too fast, can cause serious injury and/or cardiovascular problems. The last thing you need is an aneurysm or heart attack because you pushed too hard. The more overweight and unfit we are the more careful we need to be. Be safe Dude.

I'm very proud of my progress however small it may be, to me it feels like huge progress. I'm 6 foot 280lb. So I got a ways to go but I'm happy to say that this morning for the first time I went the full 30 mins. It wasn't pretty but I stuck it out the best I could. @@bigcypha420 good to hear. I’m an above knee amputee who uses a chair more than walking due to socket fit issues. It’s getting better but I really don’t mind my chair. Lol. I also just had shoulder reconstruction surgery back this past April so that’s taking some time to work through also. I love this workout for my cardio but I also really love going to the gym for strength training (my gym has great trainers who have worked hard to help me with a routine that works for me). Put the two together and I’m making great progress. I’m glad you are feeling good about your fitness journey. We gimps need to stick together!

@DanOnWheels4 жыл бұрын
I had a problem finding a wheelchair that could handle my weight too (I’m only 5ft9, but was well over 300 lbs). So, I went to Mike Box at Box Wheelchairs. Mike’s only limitation is a 500 pound weight limit. His wheelchairs are fully custom made, so any size or features you need he can do. I got a WCMC full suspension wheelchair, which weighs more than other wheelchairs, but they can also take a lot more abuse. I also use a SmartDrive and FreeWheel with it with no issues. Even though my Box Wheelchair is heavier than my TiLite it’s more comfortable to sit in all day and it’s easier to self propel. If the wheelchair weight is an issue you could get a different type of Box Wheelchair. HOC (Hands On Concepts) also makes great wheelchairs, but I’m not sure what the weight limit is on their wheelchairs.

Its just a lot harder to do with that consistent push of the products when you need the encouragement more. I love what you guys do and stand for and am always eager to watch. I by no means want to offend or upset you guys with what I am saying. I really hope I haven't. I really do feel you guys have the opportunity to make more of a difference. But I just worry that to much pushing like this could turn people away from you guys and what you are trying to do. I know you guys think about the content long and hard before you post and you really did put a lot of thought in this one, I can tell. but it does seem like a lot of distraction.

Better control your breath during exercise, as important as your workout, and i get irritated with your choice of music...
