Ha, ha! I know what to expect (well, usually!) from the Interbike rides - that's why I (sometimes...) ride them. Good ride - cracking pace. It must be a bit weird being a young(er) rider today; I think to an extent training rides have had to replace what we once did in races. Training rides, during the season, at least, were either the odd intervals sessions (mainly by guesswork back then) or - in the main - recovery sessions.
