My opinions on each design. 1980's: Cyberpunk looks nice even if the future it presents is bleak. Can't help but feel that it'd be at least a century too early though. Art Deco: Looks amazing, so amazing in fact that I'd be paying more attention to my surrounding than what's happening in there. Backrooms: Why is this even on the list?! Baroque: Too fancy. Way too fancy. Bohemian: Beautiful, but that'll only work if the area around the house is naturally beautiful. Contemporary: If you have girlfriend whose living space looks like that and she's fine with it, there's a 50-50 chance that she may or may not be a keeper. Cottagecore: Beautiful and perfect for raising a family... too bad I'm single. Danish Pastel: Too plain and boring. Dark Academia: I'm not a Harry Potter fan, and even if I was I doubt I could stomach living in such a space. Fruitger Aero: Nice and colorful, could be a bit more mature in tone though. Goth: I said "Mature", not moody. Catholic Gothic: That's meant for a church, not a home. Victorian Gothic: Given the choice between stereotypical haunted house and steampunk, I think I'd prefer Steampunk. Grandma's House: Nostalgic, but too ordinary. Hollywood Regency: Discount Art Deco, looks nice but reeks of residual cigarettes which I don't smoke. Industrial: That actually works pretty well as long as it's kept clean and doesn't smell bad. Japandi: Too delicate. I feel as tough the whole design of the room would be ruined if I do so much as move a pillow 1 centimeter out of place. Maximalism: Way too much going on, definitely not my thing. Memphis Design: I didn't ask to live in Peewee's Playhouse, I just wanted a real living space. Mexican: Might come in handy for dating a Latina, even if she's not Mexican, but she might also be looking for something different if she got bored from growing up with it. In short, maybe. Mid-Century Modern: Am I living in home or 1970's Charlie's Angel's episode? It looks nice, but unless I'm going full Fallout, I can't help but feel that the modern gadgets I've gotten used to would feel too out of place. Minimalist: Not fancy enough. And somehow simultaneously too expensive for some reason. Modern: Looks nice, but has the potential to be way too expensive. Moroccan: I can stomach spicy food just fine, but I don't think I could handle the physical heat living in such a place would bring. Nautical: THAT'S MY JAM!! A bit location specific, as it only really works beside the sea, a huge lake, or a wide river, but it looks are absolutely perfect, for me and any visitors I might have. Russiacore: Why would you put rugs on the walls and ceilings? Those are strictly for floors! Rustic: Beautiful, but the location of said house and the company I keep will decide if I fit in with it. And Finally... Tuscan Rustic: Perfect for an Italian wife/girlfriend, which... I don't have...

About the Russiacore - carpets were hung for warmth and sound insulation, because it was cold in the apartments and the walls were very thin, so much so that you could hear absolutely everything that was happening in the neighbors. and carpets were hung to hide defects on the walls. although there were freaks who believed that the carpets on the walls showed their well-being, because then carpets in Russia were expensive

As a Mexican, I've never seen a single house in Mexico with that decor xd, only American restaurants that want to look "Mexican", In fact, the food they serve there is always more of an American take on Mexican food, Tacos with yellow, hard tortillas and cheese? That's not Mexican at all, burritos are not popular at all and nachos are not even worth mentioning.
@VBMichael_DАй бұрын
@@aldeanoman1377 I was talking about the restaurants, pretty much all of the ones I've been in are like that...don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining! If I get tacos, they are usually the 'de le calle' version with the corn tortillas, lime and cilantro. If I wanted the type of Amerimex food you speak of, I'd go to Taco Bell (which I don't find as appealing as most people do). I also like cheese enchiladas. I also prefer pico de gallo over salsa for chips.

Art Deco is such a beautiful style. I would say, it was also popular in first czechoslovak republic. There was also czech style of Art Deco called rondocubism. Btw Art Deco got comeback in 2020s. Some new US skyscrapers, and some new buildings in europe are building in this neoArtDeco style.
