I have a Kia picanto run around as has my Dad, bought new in 2010. I religiously use APC g101 on the inside, the driver seat is ripped from cracking. My Dad rarely cleans his car in a fairness and his seat is fine. I recon your right the APC I've used for years has degraded the seat.
