Welcome to the 2nd class of Intermediate Yoga Module A! This is the start of an intensive Yoga Training. If you're interested in getting the most out of this unique and challenging experience it's advised to have completed Beginners Module A & B first. This Module is an important transition and approaching this journey as an 'Initiation Training' will help you to adhere to its structure. Pacing yourselves. Setting realistic goals. And staying constant! The instructions on how to use this Module are written below. If anything is unclear or if you have any questions please feel free to message me here. DIRECTIONS: Each class should be practiced 1X in sequential order: Class A then B, then C, then D. When you reach D go back to the beginning and start again (A, B, C, D) for a minimum of 8 full ABCD cycles over 2 months or more. Each Practice accentuates something different so that when practiced together we experience a beautifully structured holistic evolution of Asana. For instance: if practicing 4x a week - do A, B, C & D, once in that order, each week for at least 8 weeks before moving onto the next module. If practicing 2X a week - do A & B the 1st week, followed by C & D the 2nd week and then back to A & B until each class has been practiced a minimum of 8 times. If practicing 5X or more a week please message me below. At the bottom of this page there is a section titled SEQUENCE for CLASS A. My gift to you. A recipe of asanas. The Practice Sequence. Each ensuing class and module will have its own unique sequence. Please Copy, Paste & Print. Practice from them, take notes on them, create a file and keep forever. You'll also see that each pose has times written next to it: 30 sec, 1 min. etc. In the Yoga world these are called Timings. Each pose has its ideal timing in relationship to others. When practicing with respect of Timings the practice is 100% energetically optimised. To make the most out of this training it's advisable to follow these timings. The beauty about this is that you can adapt the practice according to your needs. For instance - if time is short choose 30 sec. per pose. And when there is more time choose 1 min. Some poses only have one time option. For instance: Supta Virasana 3 min. Sirsasana 3 min. etc. Whilst it may initially be challenging to hold them that long, with practice the stamina and strength will come.

Oh yes dear Polly. It's so good to hear from you too. Hoping that you enjoy a wonderful weekend. And that your knee is ache free! (Is it from an old past injury?) My elbows are my trouble spot these days. Old trauma resurfacing on tired days. Sort of a 'watch out' signal for me .... 🌺

Dearest Cat, teacher. Did Module Intermediate yoga Class A and B this weekend. May, 25 and 26. 2024. You teach it very good. The beginning of a strong and firm Sirsasana, elbows and shoulders. It was hard for me when you lie , class B, over 10 minutes in Virasana- legs, Parvatasana in Virasana, Supta Virasana Mudrasana in Virasana and finally Uttanasana, hard for my thighs , pffff......but I didn't surrender, steady breath 😅. This week I continue the Modules Cat with other practices. Have a good week dearest TEACHER AND FRIEND, love,x Jos,❤,🎉

Good afternoon Jos. I'm catching up with your news. Always a pleasure to do so! As for the Intermediate Modules - they are tough and challenging and much harder than the Beginner Course. In fact they are advanced even though the poses are intermediate because this training is really a Teacher Training. I made it and shared it during covid when the world was really needing this kind of depth. I've tried to teach it as it was taught to me which means that sometimes its very strong and demanding. This kind of training is not for everybody and there will definitely be days when you may feel irritated by the role that I play here... However, on a positive note, it is (for me) one of the best training and sequencings in the world. Directly descending from Iyengar himself, it represents his excellence, his vigorousness, his genius. I hope that you'll continue to enjoy this unique journey that we share! Dearest Cat. Thanks for your long and interesting answer. I also love the Modules- journey. Sometimes it is tough, strong and demanding, but that is allright Cat. Ha, I never feel irritated about you. Sometimes you hold asana's quite long and then I wish you stop but than I have to hold on , listen to you and go with the pain😮🎉. The journey with you goes on Cat with much beautiful pain , much stretching, much effort and much love. I am honoured to be your dearest stretchlover and you are mine dearest Cat❤😮😊! Oh Orit this is really an incredible course. I take no credit! Just the vehicle passing it on. And am so deeply content to know that it is serving. The entire evolution will probably take one year (did i tell you that already? if I'm repeating myself I apologise!) I initially felt a bit nervous taking it on (time wise) - but now that the leap has been made it feels right, useful and compelling. Let's go for it!! 💚💛🧡

Wow Cat!! I really felt I’m training in class. The intensity I have never felt before, I felt like crying during the practice many times. It took me almost 3 hours to see and do but finally when I’m done I’m proud of myself! 😎. Thank you Cat for being such a wonderful teacher 💕. Looking forward to the next practice!! 🤗🤗🤗

I’m slowly working on Sirsasana. Checking many beginners videos😁. In Sarvangasana, I’m able to go up but where I feel I have a straight back and legs, actually it’s not like that. My buttocks stick out and my legs are falling towards my head. Strangely I only see it in my video but don’t feel it. Please guide how to work towards correcting the posture. 💝

Filming them totally wipes me out too 😂 I try to give 1000% so that you'll really feel the power of it despite the screen. It's great that you've taken note of this very common issue in Sarvgangasana. To counter this take more blankets - 5 at least - or use 2 bolsters parallel to each other as the base support. The extra lift will bring more freedom to the shoulders enabling you to really roll them open and move the hands on the back higher up the back (closer to the floor) so that the foundation of the pose is arms & shoulders. Then you can begin to adjust the buttock thigh issue. Let me know! X Cat 💫

I attend to classes twice a week but since the lockdown I practice at home 6/7 with you!
