Welcome to Intermediate Yoga Module B! This is the 2nd Module in a year long Training Programme for practitioners looking to establish firm foundations and feel a sense of purpose and evolution. This Module is slightly different than the first because we now have 5 practices instead of 4 but the system remains exactly the same. Each class should be practiced in sequential order, following the A, B, C, D & E structure, one after the other, for a minimum of 6 weeks. In other words each class will be experienced at least 6 times before moving onto the next Module. As always I have included the Class Sequence at the bottom of this page for you to copy, paste and print creating your own Yoga file of our progression. As you gain confidence and begin to practice from your Practice Sheets please be sure to observe the timings of the poses to best honour the energetics of the Training. Definitely feeling the level increase in this new module, just by keeping the pauses for longer. The good news is that as you recommend 6 repetitions of this module, there is quite a good space of practice to improve. And again, you realize there is no way to leave too many days of non practicing as you will surely struggle more otherwise, instead of evolving progressively. Thank you Catherine 😘

Remember to pay extra attention to the lumbar/core area where I know you have slight fragility sometimes. And if 6 repetitions doesn't feel like enough keep repeating until it feels right. Dearest friend and teacher. Juni 4. Hope you had a wonderful evening yesterday at the concert with Taylor Swift 😂🎉 with Talitha. Today started Cat with Module B, class A for the next two months. And I do also 4 back-bends, with blocks. Sirsasana goes better and better, steady. So, scroll and this Module B, class A is my next station for 8 weeks. Dear Cat, I’ve just completed Class A of Module B for the first time, and I’m soooo pleased with myself! 😄😄 I spent 3 months on Module A - it took me that long to feel ready to move on, and I’m so glad I did. I can feel my strength growing week by week, and it’s very gratifying to feel the progress I’m making in many of the poses. I’m still battling with stage 1 of Sirsasana, but am now using a lower chair to get up - it’s getting there slowly. I’ve also moved a little bit away from the wall, so stage 2 & 3 is largely unsupported. It’s so exciting! 🎉. Thank you once again for making this all possible, Cat. I am forever grateful 💕

lol. You are so right. The mountains have been filling me with energy during this past year. In fact I've completely fallen in passion with them. They feel like a physical expression of the Yoga journey. At this point in time I cannot think of anything more heart fluttering and joyful than to be high up on the peaks in silence. 🏔 😃 Am also so happy to meet you here Bea - and together our energies create more. and more. We will get through this difficult planetary time with steadiness and commitment. And emerge stronger in body and mind! 🙌 💛🙏🏼

Dear Cat, I couldn,'t practice last week so today I had the determination to be back on the mat. Surprisingly contrary to what I expected while I was doing class A of Module. B I felt strong and comfortable as if this break had meant a time to settle alí I have learned since I began the trainning. So once again thank you beautiful Cat. With love and gratitude. Rocío

I was trained with a different approach and it took me a while to allow myself the gift of space without mental conflict. Good afternoon dear Rocio from the mountains. My daughter finished her exams and I snuck off for 3 days to recuperate in Nature. Just back from a heavenly long hike in the high alpine pastures where rivers are pounding from snow melt and flowers absolutely everywhere! I'm a passionate photographer so spent a delicious time immersed in trying to capture the beauty. Wish I had a way to share some of the images here... Meanwhile very good plan to come back to this for stamina. Each of these modules in 'Iyengar Time' is actually supposed to take 3 months! So repeating more than suggested here online will be super beneficial in terms of experiencing tradition. More good news is that after numerous filmings of the next module (that I wasn't happy with so deleted 😱 ) have finally 'found the way in' and am excited to get Module C out asap!!! Have already started - with success - and am feeling blessed by the divine flow that makes all things possible. Have a graceful and beautiful weekend. Thank you for your message. Yesterday I learned that Module B is still there for me, a lot to learn from it, so as for me you no need to hurry up to launch next module. We your students are well aware of the magnificient effort is designing, filming and editing the module. Take all the time you need beautiful Cat, your channel is a real treasure, plenty of jewels. My Dear Teacher Cat, thank you so much!!! I've been looking forward to starting this Module! I've been traveling, so my practice has sacrificed a bit. Limited time, props, place to roll out my mat... Just finished Class A, I feel so wonderful to be back on schedule 😄, awesome class! There was a blessing in disguise however, to my couple weeks of limited yoga practice. My occasional seated meditation has now become a very strong, committed, daily morning practice. Funny how (and when) we grow ❤️

Dear Cat, just to let you know I have completed this fantastic class with much self-compassion and awareness. Apart from the uttanasanas I have also modified halasana using a bench since occasionaly it could make me feel some discomfort. No pain at all. Always following your advice on the spine lengthening. After practicing five times Module A I feel much stronger and have the ability to bear in mind many actions of each pose so my practice has considerably improved. I am forever in your debt beautiful Cat. Much love.

Oh that is SO fantastic to read Rocio!!! 🧡☀️🌟 ☀️ 🌟🧡 Bench Halasana is such a great idea and maybe also for Eka Pada Sarvangasana too? And in practice C which has Forward Bends it might be nice to have the chair in front, folding your upper arms, inner elbows and forearms on the chair. Maybe even 2 blocks under the chin to really keep length in the spine. And now that I'm thinking about forward extensions - all Yoga Mudrasanas could be wonderful with bolster or blocks under the hands. It gives that wonderful lift of freedom to the side ribs and lengthening to the front spine which of course lengthens the back spine. Plus it really helps us to feel the muscles of the back flowing downward which is infinitely healing. Thank you so much for letting me know Rocio. I'm grateful. A perfect ending to a long day. 🙏 🌈🌿

Dejar Cat, today I've started second round of Module B. Getting much more confortable in parivitra parsvakonasana. As for the restorative version of setu bandha sarvangasana I've enjoyed it to the full. Much love!

Thanks for your message Rocio. ✨I love the restorative version too! Been 'using' it a lot these days as the general atmosphere here in Europe is very grim. In fact so grim that I started a 10 day retreat to ensure that the frequency in our household stays high. It's Surya Yog chanting/blessing in the morning. Followed by Asana. Then Pranayama in the afternoon. Meditation before bed. And reading. Hard work but it's working! Hope everything on your end is bright. With love and thanks always, Cat 🌸🙏🏼🌸
