international FLIGHT ATTENDANT Life | can I handle the commute? Okinawa to the US

Somehow it's almost been 18 months of me not flying. Next month I go back to work, so I got a taste of what it'll be like to commute from Okinawa to the United States to start my trips as a flight attendant for a major US airline. I'm honestly looking forward to it, but the commute will be long. But I have faith I'll make it work somehow!

I did commute from both Düsseldorf and Munich to Atlanta and I stressed out so much even when flying my airline and/or Lufthansa I can’t imagine from Japan..GLAD YOU ARE HOME

Wow that’s pretty wild and cool to commute from OKA. With my airline we fly to Yokota, Misawa, and Kadena Air Bases. We currently have to stay on base for our layovers due to COVID. I can’t wait for when we can stay outside the bases so we can explore the city! Aloha 🤙🏼

My goal is to push my flying together so I'm not going back & forth too often. Plus I get a lot of work & editing done on flights so I think of it as productivity time!
