The shopping, the cleaning, the prep, the cooking, the setting up, the, packing, the unpacking, the baking, the serving, then the clean up in between, the cleanup after wards only to turn around and do it all over again plus your a full time wife, mother and you have a job. 😲 Your able to stand all put together at the end of it all. Hi, @Sonya’s Prep. I am a Greek Orthodox Christian but share your enthusiasm for sourdough bread. When the pandemic started, there was zero bread in the stores in So. Calif. I made a sourdough starter and pulled my Sears Kenmore bread machine out of storage to make the dough and prepare the sourdough bread. I am still loving the sourdough bread I make in my bread machine, even though your bread is much prettier! I have noticed that sourdough bread stays fresh for at least a week due to its particular properties. That’s a great benefit since I am making the bread just for myself and my 89-year-old mother. Also, it’s DELICIOUS. Keep up the good work!

@@aggieglitter genetic testing, the line my Jewish DNA comes from is my mums, mums mum etc, (I have a tree going back to almost all of my 5th great grandparents on all family lines from researching and the dna relatives over like 6 years). But yeah my maternal Nana was actually adopted when she was 4 and had no idea about being Jewish. She was born in England and the adoption agency wrote down that her dad was some Spanish guy. A total lie I've since found out. Obviously... Lol. They never wanted the kids really finding the parents, especially back then. Nanas mother Annie did try to keep her, she had her for 4 years. Sadly Nana was adopted in January 1941 right around the time of ww2. Both my Nana and my mum passed away before I found out. I was actually so gutted because my mum was gifted a star of David necklace from her fiance (his name was David) before she met my dad, he was killed in a motorbike accident before they ever got to marry. She had that necklace for like 40 years. I only wish she knew it could have ment something else for her too. She would have been so proud.

It's giving me ideas back again to cook some of the meals on Thursday so it's less hassle on Friday. Proverbs 31:10-16 (KJV) Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

The Shabbat is just but one of the Father's Commandments found in the book of Exodus. I do not wish to cause you grief but...you have broken one. (In this day and age, many...many take His name in vain when they say, "om_".) So many people use the expression that it becomes common place. God is not common. He is to be respected. Special. Lifted up above. 🌿🌺🌿 May He continue to bless & keep you in your journey for truth.💕

My husband and I are not Jewish by birth but we do live a Torah obedient life. We observe Shabbat, celebrate all of HIS commanded Feasts and even enjoy celebrating the observance of Hanukkah. We adhere to dietary laws with regards to not eating unclean foods and enjoy our weekly/daily studies. Our lives have never been more fuller & enriched & our hearts, minds, & souls feel joyful. I believe this is what the Father always wanted for us. We look forward to Shabbat, never feeling burdened. We are much happier in the last 10 yrs and always growing. I wish you the best in your journey.

Hi K I would love to know more of where you have been learning and what is involved and all. I’m very interested myself in understanding and learning, Christian here too I would say but we don’t go to a church at this time and I’ve never felt like a certain religion but want to find myself and my journey. My son wants to go to church but I don’t like or feel the Christian Churches near us as I don’t think we should have to give 10% of our income to our church as that’s not the church I remember growing up 8n and just giving what we could not so much of our income, that’s so strange to me that would be what god wants from us and or if that’s just so the pastors can live in cushy homes and have nice lives? I am on disability pay so if I give 10% of my income I would literally be homeless for me and my family. I’m just not down with this new church deal so I’ve been looking into finding myself and religion based on everything I see and believe in. Was just curious why you all have been curious too?

This vedio was on my recommendation and I'm not disappointed. I'm a Christian from India and I'm learning how to celebrate shabbat. And everything you've shared was very useful. New Subscriber here 😊 And Shabbat Shalom.

@@briannawilson7187 to celebrate the true 7th day Shabbat that YHVH hallowed and set apart, all you have to do is follow the Torah commands to do so. Found in Leviticus. Rest, don’t kindle a fire, be at peace with all men. It is the Mark of those that truly trust completely in Him. Shabbat Shalom.

@@briannawilson7187 the fourth commandment is as binding as the other Nine. Honoring Sabbath is for our understanding of God’s plan to reform our character to His. Love for sharing the gospel message of Jesus’ she’d blood for forgiveness of repented sin. Meeting Jesus on Sabbath is our faithful recognition that God can and will save us. Also if you’re interested my favorite yt ministry is Midday Power Surge. Showing Bible prophecy fulfilling in current news events according to biblical signs of the times.

@@briannawilson7187 There is a book called The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. The author touches on it a bit. Also the book of Hebrews in the Bible talks about sabbath and rest in Chapters 7 and 8. As for practical tips, look into the church heritage and tradition to see the principles they applied. Then in prayer you can apply them to your contemporary context
