Young Guinan is buffed and hot looking black woman. She was much less cocky later on the USS Engerprise D. Even the older Guinan can get mad when annoyed. She did shoot a phaser rifle into the 10 Forward Lounge ceiling when a bar fight broke out.

Any investigator would have left a recording device in the bottom of that coffee mug. Picard was all too willing to spill the beans. That agent now knows crucial information. Hope that’s where the story goes, and it would be nice to see Guinan outsmarted by someone she so deeply underestimates. Picard as well. Would almost feel…unexpected.

@@vitesse_arnhem In that regard it is funny because once again, maybe more strongly than with transporter technology, we have to acknowledge that it will be nigh-impossible to prove that what was transferred to the android body was Picard's consciousness and not just his personality. I love the game SOMA for exploring this philosophical problem.

At this point the situation was BEGGING Picard to turn the cop into an ally, but instead he kept silent for not apparent benefit. They had established that they are incriminated with evidence and that the cop has a personal investment in seeing the mission succeed, i.e. same as Picard.

I havent seen this, but how is technology so backwards now in the timeline? You cant tell me that earth life didnt evolve as fast as life out in space. Even the earth colonies they would go to are way ahead of this.
