Between 2020-22, MnDOT replaced all of the freeway signs on I-35E between the Burnsville Split and MN Highway 13. Much better Signage than before most importantly.

A 45 mph speed limit...damn NIMBYs.

Yes. That’s between the Mississippi River and the I-94 junction in St Paul. Complicated history of that stretch of I-35E back then, so that’s why the Speed Limit is 45mph.
