Your visiting the Tillamook Creamery at the end is the cherry on top for this wonderful drive. Looks like they sell other dairy related products there as well.

Nice video as usual. One thing I noticed is that there's quite a few Tsunami zones-that a legacy of the 1964 Alaska Earthquake that did spawn a nasty Tsunami (it smacked Crescent City, CA pretty good)? Being an aviation buff, that Tillamook Aviation Museum would be worth a visit-though there's a much bigger one in McMinnnville: THAT one is on my "to visit" list.

Our local grocery stores have recently started to sell the Tillamook Creamery brand of cheese and ice cream. Although I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve heard that their ice cream is the best there is!

This part of the portion of US-101 I drove most recently. In mid July, took my family on a day trip to visit the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad up in Garibaldi. I drove OR-22 to US-101 to Garibaldi, then on the return trip went down to OR-18 back inland. It was a fun day.

I do miss the Port of Tillamook Bay Railway because I know they are building the Salmonberry trail between banks and Tillamook because The have no viabilities to justify Keeping the railroad active after the December Storm in the 2007 washout. Rest in Peace POTB Line.

@@thomasdeturk5142 At least the OCSR still keeps the Tillamook Bay RR number 101 (the cow print diesel) on display.

I did the drive on US-101 last year going South, one of the most amazing drives in my life, I did stop at the Tillamook creamery and had some huckleberry ice cream, it was awesome.

That was an amazing drive. I actually lived near Tillamook when I was a little kid, I lived out near Netarts out on the coast. I also remember my mom and dad taking me to the Tillamook Cheese Factory as well. Even though I was a little kid, it's still a core memory for me.

The actual and original name of the Native Americans in this immediate are were called Killamook! But the white settlers did not like how that sounded, so they changed the K to T hence Tillamook

If you were tailgating me like you are everyone else, I would be brake checking you! I stongly dislike inpatient drivers. Slow down and leave some space.
