Hey guys, big blessing u put up your YT channel the way u did! Your informal convs between u 2 and interaction with watchers is an utterly new formula here on YT. Nobody has it, yet👏🥇👏🥇. That does work way off the chart, dudes. So intriguing, eye and ear-catching. Yep, it does it all. U 2 are on for a big..... ...., no, no, no, no, SUPER-big hand. We'll catch up soon. Love from Italy

If you want to slowly phase out subtitles, our advice would be to listen to a short clip (30 seconds - 1 minute) of one of our episodes, or any English content you prefer, then try to listen to the same clip without subtitles. When I learn Spanish, I need to hear the same clip at least 10 to 15 times to hear the individual words of the sentences, and I need to listen even more times to actually remember the sentence! So take your time, (it's a marathon, not a sprint), and keep repeating repeating repeating - it does get easier!

When will the teaching of a second language at school, wether it's English, French or another, change??? The students don't like it because it isn't efficient, it's even boring... And finally, many pupils think English is difficult. They want us to be citizens of the world but without helping children to look forward to learn about other cultures... 😢
@highlevellistening Жыл бұрын
I completely understand how you feel! Mark learned French for 12 years and can't speak it, and I learned Spanish and French for years and felt so unhappy trying to learn to speak from terrible methods. Teaching should involve more than tests and terribly long vocabulary lists, but we'll see with the future of technology in classrooms!
