Hi from Poland, I am a lonely creature here doing carnivore alone, my family doesn't really believe it can work, especially since nothing really happens in terms of weight loss. However, it has been only 2 months now. Nobody understands me. That is why such videos like this keep me going. Thank you!:)
@KetogenicWoman11 ай бұрын
That is hard to keep going when no weight loss but the weight on the scale is just one metric. Keep doing all the right things and results will come. Also nothing wrong with some tweaking here and there. Anna Maria and I are big fans of metabolic confusion!

Hello from San Pedro California! Maybe you have found a small tribe by now, I hope so. I too am alone in this carnivore style, for now. It’s been 4 weeks today, lost and gained back the same 5/6 lbs! This talk between Anita and Anna Maria helped me a lot! I’ve been eating too much fat. So I will adjust as I go. But, I thank God I have not gone off carnivore or even wanted to. I had to tell you all that, my family does not take me seriously and it’s difficult, but some health issues seem to be better. I have much better sleep and more energy! I’ll be 70 next month. Please take care, God bless!

It is hard to be the first to make a path thru deep snow.. stay strong.. focus on your food & choices. I too was the first to learn and live zero carb. I knew it was life or death for me . I hoped other loved ones would one day see my results and benefit too! Now! 5 years later several family members are low carb with me 🎉hold on to hope! Be a light house not a fog horn..

I hope you are still there, and still on carnivore! If not, that is okay, too! Every journey begins with one step, and then another. Keep going on your path, and I think you will find your way to what you are looking for on this way of eating. I am looking to lose weight, and I think I have gained some. I have health issues I hope to heal. It is hard to hear that some lose weight so quickly, and I am gaining. For me, I will adjust my path to see if I can reach the goals I have. I will also try to cut the fat I am eating, to see if this will help. Stay strong!!

Anna Maria is precious ❤. My father was first generation Calabrase and my mother is first generation Polish. Italian plus Polish = FOOD 😅 my parents came from West Virginia and when we went to visit all of our relatives there, you go to every persons home and they want to stuff you with 10,000 cal or more. The southern Italians really know how to eat but I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the entire world is my parents were married for 69 years and I had the best upbringing in the entire world. I will say that, even though there was a lot of pasta, my mother did have an emphasis on very fatty steaks and roasts and prime ribs all the time and so all six kids are pretty much meat-based. Thank you for such a delightful interview, and Anna Maria is going to be in reaching many peoples lives. :-) ❤🥩

I appreciate you both for the information you covered. I'm 67, have gone from dirty Keto to Ketovore, and though I have lost 40-50 pounds in 2 years (the 10 pounds bounces up and down), I struggle to get under 200 lbs. The plus is, I am off my rheumatoid arthritis meds. I live with my daughter's family and they eat the SAD diet. But I am determined to get under 200 lbs. until I'm where I need to be for better health. So I thank you both for the info. , the tips, and the recipes Anita. You are both appreciated and I will use what I learned here to get to where I need to be. There's no one in my area or church that eats this way, but I will turtle on.

When I began drinking beef bone broth… for lunch…it repaired my very broken metabolism…(it took almost 6 months…no weight loss but amazing loss of inches…so, I was happy!) And after that…I began losing 15 pounds a month. I would eat enough homemade beef broth until I was full. I called it so delicious…I called it my liquid steak…I never got bored of it… it was my cure…my body actually craved that huge 3 cup bowl of broth everyday! I ate it eight months straight! And felt wonderful. Try bone broths…it might not cause weight loss immediately whilst it repairs your body from the inside out! Give it time! Be patient. Know you are doing your best without cheating! You can do this! Hint…I prepare beef bone broth using the same bones TWICE, in a pressure cooker. First cooking is 1 1/4 hours second coking with fresh veggies added is 4 hours and the taste of the broth is the same! Saves money on my very expensive beef bones and produces more valuable broth! I'm 64 now and being in keto for 5 years and carnivore for 14 months and this time I feel hope. I have lost 18 pounds (very little compared to other people) but since last 5 weeks ago I really started to show improvement in my physique and I feel really well. Legs and arms have being getting smaller and I feel so light! Snoring has stopped, blood glucose has improved, sleep better, dried eyes no more, callouses on the heels no more (bog issue in the summer), stomach issues solved, constant urinating has improved I sleep through the night now, cellulite from the waist down is almost gone and another things I don't remember right now. My mood is very stable right now and I think there is no stop for me to keep away from carnivore, nope.

@gloriaiarango Happy to hear from you and read your story. I am very happy that you have had multiple health improvements that are helping you finally feel relief as well as lighter. 😚 I am nearly 70 and am the highest weight I have ever been. I am educated, watch the videos, grew up on home cooking from scratch. I was active back. I failed at keto, and making no progress on carnivore since March 2023. I think I need to do the coach.
@gloriaiarango8 ай бұрын
@@FM19MONTH Dear you don't need a coach it is really simple and easy. Just cook beef in any way you know how to cook it eat eggs the same way, for drinks make you coffee with whipping cream instead of milk, replace bread, pretzels, croissant, etc. with mozzarella cheese. Drink water or herbal teas cold or hot instead of juice or sodas and you are in business I use diabetic sugar. The secret is to eat enough food until you really feel full that way you avoid temptations and cravings. I used to spend a lot more money before this lifestyle so instead of spending more I'm saving and the freedom I feel with everything food related it's huge! Good luck and happy carnivore life!!

Anna Marie said it perfect. Anita you are a true treasure and I am so happy I found you last year just a few months onto this carnivore lifestyle. I hope you know what a great woman you are. My mother made my sandwiches on that horrible Roman Meal wheat bread. She couldn't cook her way out of a wet paper bag! So I was a really skinny kid. I married into a family that were amazing cooks and discovering food started me down the fat path. No more, thank God, I stopped thinking food was my solution to everything. I don't care what my food centric family thinks, I eat what works to keep me healthy. It's MY life and I'm responsible for my health, not anyone else. Thanks for this interview.

He’s lost his big belly and over 30 lbs. while I have stalled after 14 lbs. Well, for starters, I was eating the same amount of meat he was. I am from a southern Appalachian culture where food = love. It also is a diet with lots of garden vegetables and not always much meat, so I grew up not really liking meat (think cornbread and pinto beans with lots of sweet tea). Over the years, my diet has changed as I've moved from place to place (I'm 53 now and live in the Midwest). I've gone through every diet imaginable and also had bariatric surgery. I now have disabling health conditions, and my weight is at its highest in my life. I started carnivore-ish just last week. I am trying to ease into it a bit due to meat aversion and nausea. Thank you for your story and for sharing information for a newbie. I was able to use your link to sign up for Kelly's classes in February (she is booked for January). What a great video. It brought me to tears! I'm almost a week new to your wonderful channel, Anita. I am very new to the carnivore way of eating. Though meat has always been the main part of my diet. I have discovered cutting back on carbs doesn't work for me. It has taken me a life time to learn this. I'm 65 with Hoshimoto's Disease. I've had it for years. Getting the weight off has been impossible. I'm 4' 11" and small boned. I haven't stepped on a scale for years until my recent doctor's app. this past September 18th. I couldn't look at my weight there. I had to call the office a couple of weeks later, after I finally stepped on my bathroom scale. I asked my doctor what he thought about the carnivore diet. Knowing he's a D.O. I figured he'd have some understanding of it. To my great surprise he said, YES! It's a good healthy diet. Get on it now!! So I did that very day. At the Dr's office I weighed 242 😲. I now weigh 229. It is a start, I have a long way to go. I'm so glad I found your channel. I need this encouragement and people to talk to. Thank you to you and Anna Maria for today's show. May the Lord bless you both!

Deaanne you got this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gratz on that amazing loss already! This is such an amazing community for support, and you will generally always someone lurking here to chat with! I believe Dr. Chaffee recommends strict carnivore for Hashimoto's, meaning beef, salt to taste and water. Keep us posted!!!! We are in your corner!🤗🤗

My husband and I just started carnivore after failing for months on keto. I have exacerbated metabolic problems which were revealed after a bout with long covid in 2021. Just want to tell Anna Maria how incredibly encouraging it was to hear her give glory to God in this interview! Seems so rare to hear in this space. Most of the influencers talk endlessly about our ancestors eating like this hundreds of thousands of years ago. How do they know? Just goes against our Biblical knowledge! Anyway, thank you for sharing your faith in Jesus Christ! Have not watched enough of Anita yet to know where she stands in this area. God bless you both! ❤🙏🏼❤

my mother would force feed us sweet foods..now she is carnivore/keto and if not mealtime we don't eat at all. she is 86 and is looking bright eyed and bushy tailed as we say.

@hazelblackley My mom is 93 and loves how she feels with low carb high meat/egg diet. She has the beginning stages of macular degeneration and also chronic kidney disease. She doesn’t believe that the diet could actually stop and or reverse those diseases. Anyone, any age, situation can improve their lives through this way of eating.
