Marjorie brought all of the kids together. The first time he has been able to have a real family setting. That's wonderful. Ask Mary did she ever invite his kids over and how close was their relationship. When I divorced, I missed all of the children because I brought them over a lot. We're still close. She hasn't once said anything about "the family". She so stuck on Steve and jealous of the life he has with his wife and the "whole" family.

When I was very young and understood heart break love songs; I vowed never to dwell on a guy who I leave or who leaves me. Do not sing about him, wine about him, explain about him etc... spend the “in the mean time,” getting healthier, finer and setting up a world of joy for yourself. Be the best you life has to offer. SUCCESS IS THE BEST REVENGE EVER! Succeed in your goals, education, physical fitness etc... surround yourself with positive people and sincere friends. Keep his name out your mouth. When his name comes up, be silent, there is power in controlling your world. It looks like he has it all, but he lacks the fullness of himself. Marjorie is his trophy. She defines him, gives him self esteem and a buffed ego. Without money they would not exist. So, move on, do not waste your energy or time. I admire Steve for over coming all odds, I admire Majorie for having visions and goals and accomplishing her dreams, making her own money. I went through a situation, that caused a divorce of a marriage of 13 years. I left hurt, abandoned as well. A year later. I met and remarried. What I didn't know at the time was in my divorce decree, being that my ex was retired military, and we had been married over 10 years, I was due a portion of his retirement benefits. I have been remarried for 26 years. One day God spoke to my heart and I looked it up online. Divorced 27 years, remarried 26 years. The Lord blessed, I now receive a portion on a monthly basis part of his retirement. Won't God do it!

This interview is the first that I've seen of Steve Harvey's ex-wife. I've always wondered who she was and how Steve's fame affected her after he made the decision to abandon his family. This interview was 10 years ago, pre-Margie Harvey, and Steve has blown up even more. I'm praying that his ex is totally healed now, and that she is free and whole, and that she found and reinvented her own identity outside and apart from the tragedy and experience of her life with her ex-husband. I hope that she is truly happy and has been able to discard the painful hurt brought on by the choices of someone else. This is not easy. I've been through it. And let me say this, I don't think that the choice that Steve made in leaving his family behind was an easy choice for him either, because he suffered tremendously and experienced a ton of defeat before finding success. But I also don't think that it was the right choice either. At the end of the day, I believe that there was a way that he could have achieved fame and fortune without the brutal abandonment of his family. D. L. Hughley did it. Bernie Mac did it. Dave Chappelle did it. I believe that Steve could have done it too. But Steve simply did not WANT to do it.

Well ladies, I read a medical journal two weeks ago that states: Studies show women literally DIE from stress. Stress shrinks all our cells so badly they can't reproduce, and...adds to the aging process immensely. Soo...don't choose your soulmate, ask TMH for him. Steve used to be a pimp in the pimp life. Marjarie swung in those drug dealing circles that keeps runaways and prostitutes in DOPE. Now, I'm not judging because I'm not them and don't really know if "I love you" still existed for Steve, due to his still searching for another that matched his ego lifestyle. Birds of a feather, hoochie pick-ups, have always been in that same lifestyle and like "boo boo Kitty" do dastardly deeds to rise, stepping on others. IF SHE FORGED ANY SIGNATURES, the law MUST STEP IN TO PROTECT MARY for grief and emotional suffering. She didn't get to see her son graduate? Black men wake up, don't leave us desolate after rising, if you want to leave. ADD UP THE TIME, PUT YOURSELF IN OUR SHOES, AND BE FUCKING FAIR ABOUT IT. If your rising, you will still rise. You ex-isn't an anchor. Just be fair, and help them to adjust to the loss of love you took from them. Remember the hard times spent and who was with you to help you get through it, otherwise, you'll end up living a lie. WE Hebrew Y'srealites have lived a lie through others long enough. Adultery is an enemy to the soul and believe me when you opened your mouth and use the voice that God gave you; you exposed the truth of the condition of our families and the role and the responsibility of head of household. The church is at fault because we give people a plateau that are rich and famous. When was the last time you watched TBN and saw a blue collar worker who is faithful to God and his wife and his children and be called to speak on nationwide TV. Well, from what I have surmised about all of this between Steve and Mary Harvey, there are ALWAYS "TWO SIDES" to EVERY story or situation. And rightfully, both sides have the right to share their views and allow things to go from there. None of us will ever know the entirety of "TRUTH" behind this situation between Mary and Steve: ONLY them, whether they come out and share the totality of the "TRUTH" or not. That is their choice. The only question I have for Mary is why had she chosen to continue using Steve's ĺ"last" name",unless that, very well, happens to be her last name. The reason why the burden falls on Afrikan / Black women is because A/B men are not considered proper men as all other men of other races are. That's just the way it is t the moment. They are considered at best boys. Most of them don't understand why they are looked upon so lowly. This label of 'boy' also applies to A / B Men that are considered successful. I know exactly what she's going through .been there done that.The only thing I can say to women is Love yourself first. Love with your head first.The heart is second. Have your own money. Make sure your name is on the deed and At least one account. The one thing I disagree with Mary on is Steve being married three times does pave the way to author a book on relationships.
