Haha, yeah I agree. Candidly, why is he the only leader with 2 cards that specifically mention him? Why don't we see that for other leaders? It's just too much,

@@rebelresource yeah and one of those cards being a game ending card that hits for 5 in space immediately (and can exhaust units on top of that for some reason???) and the other being a 2 cost item that makes your leader unkillable.. like WHAAAT?! 😂

@@rezzytheskyguy I heard that one of the game designers, who is no longer there, really loved Boba. It is possible that they gave Boba extra tools etc. just for that extra love they wanted to give the leader. If it were just Firespray or Boba's armor, I wouldn't be saying too much, but the fact that they got two back to back cards that care about one of the best leaders in the game is what feels really off to me. Why didn't we get Sabine's Blasters etc? Idk, feels like too much love for one leader card.

@@rebelresource if thats the case then how thay made it out of the design phase and into development boggles my mind. The entire team should have seen how unbalanced that was and balanced it accordingly.

Great interview. I would have one question about Bossk over Syndicate Lackeys. Is it only for the event damage? With all the x/5 units on the board I'd imagine that the 5 power Lackeys would be a better choice. Am I wrong?

This may be a useless question, but for someone who refuses to pay $50 for a Vader and hasn’t pulled one, what’s the substitute there?

lol, bro there’s not. Vader changes the board state so much. He comes with Ambush, so can trade or get effective hits. He also allows you to bring out a free 3 drop that has sentinel, etc. There’s not a replace for that board presence.

My take away is...he won with Boba and admittedly did very little prep...Boba is going to ruin this game.

I played like 1k games since july, i just hadn’t personally put in a ton of time with this deck specifically. But I knew how to play vs every deck. So i would say i was like 95% optimal.

Take it down a notch. First 2 sets were underworld heavy sets. He got a lot of help early, but We are only two sets in. Those conversations need to happen 5 to 6 sets in when we get more understanding of what the game is as a whole.
