Girl!!!… Across the river from me is a city where everyone has to go to in these parts… Bryan/College Station Texas… Well, let me tell ya… One of the BEST eat’n places is called Shannon’s Cafe… It’s TGE BEST SOUL FOOD EVER around here!!…. They started out in an old house that had the back wide open with a big ole fan in the wall just to move the air around… NOBODY CARED LOL 😂…. The food was so good people came from all over!!… My favorite was their Chicken n Dressing with a side of greens… OH MY GOODNESS!!… I would leave my job and go eat lunch there every week day lol 😂…. Needless to say it was so wonderful that God blessed them because of their hard work and delicious food with a beautiful new cafe all modern and everything!!😍😍😍… There’s no doubt in my mind these folks had an amazing Moma that taught them how to rock a kitchen out!! Some of the absolute best eat’n in the Brazos Valley!😍… Thank you so much for being in the kitchen with me! God’s blessings to y’all!! ♥️♥️Chicago ♥️♥️

I looked up June Dudley, and you are definitely correct. She's got some great western art. Love squash casserole in all of its various forms, and the one you made looks like it's amazing. My favorite squash casserole comes from a cafe in Yoakum (my hometown). I'm not 100% sure, but instead of cheddar, I think they use that cheese product that for some reason seems to make some folks lose their minds, but we both know tastes SO good. Hope you enjoy your ribs, squash, and buttermilk pie, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your weekend.

Your squash casserole looks absolutely wonderful! I’m gonna try making that one. I’ve tried several and I like all of them but I think that one’s gonna be really really good. I looked up your friend and her art is beautiful. All of it is very serene, calming. They bring a smile to a person’s face. This day and time we find a lot of artists that use their talent for the wrong things but she hasn’t and her art is absolutely beautiful. And it seems to be reasonably priced. I don’t know how a person actually can put a price on beautiful artwork because really it’s priceless but when you can price it so that you can make a good living and ordinary people like us could afford to buy it, then I think that’s a good deal.

Oh man! I removed the squash from grocery order this morning and now I wish I hadn’t. I made your King Ranch Chicken today. I haven’t had it yet. I put it in my 2 cup Souper Cubes and put it in the freezer. I’m trying to build up a 2-3 week meal plan of different recipes I can have for suppers. Using my Souper Cubes, I get 4 servings from each recipe, so in the end, I’ll wind up with 8-12 weeks of suppers that I can rotate through. I’d love to see any great freezer meals you have. ❤

Hello Tally Faye! I saw that you have to use up your tomatoes and l thought l would send you a recipe to put them to good use. This is a salsa to eat with tostada chips. You can fry your own corn tortillas or just buy Tostitos chips. Fresh tomatoes (cut out belly button 😂) Half white onion Half fresh garlic clove Bunch cilantro (don’t blend) Salt Lime juice 3 or 4 jalapeños Put all but cilantro in blend and blend a little if you want it chunky or a lot if you want it saucy. Pour into a mason jar and serve from there. Best eaten fresh! Enjoy! I just love your videos!❤ Keep up the good work! Can you video the red birds for 2-5 minutes, please? Thank you!

I should have shown them!… They were so good!… He did them on the pit with just a seasoned pork rub… then at the end he mopped them with sauce until it was all sticky on them…. DELICIOUS 😊😊😊
