I mean... I gave a pass to the bouncing robo tiddies in LAiX2, gave me a chuckle. Gave a pass to miss pothead in Blaster Master carrying two moons on her chest cause again, funny, and the mini game that came with it proves they are in on the joke. But this time around it feels a bit too ever-present and gratuitous. I will give it a try since, well, it's the closest we've gotten to MMBN since LunarLux and One Step From Eden, but I hope it doesn't get too obnoxious with the fanservice. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

This is a fanservice game that's mainly for big Inti Creates fans like me. Who really appreciate the homages. But who knows how the meta of this game will shape up. Given from watching Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG & Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG community. People can discover some broken or fascinating strategies. I'm hoping this gets a localized release even if it's another annoying LRG shadow drop, but honestly pray Red Art Games helps Inti Creates give us a retail release in the States.

To be fair, most the female characters in gunvolt games have big tits. Moniqa, Lumen, Elise, Desna Etc. So GV games already had fanservice in it. Quite realistic, since theres real ladies out there with big tits.

The way you were talking about Ancie and what they did to her, I was expecting some disgusting stuff, you know truly vile shit, but it's just a lap pillow pov scene. A bit of an overeaction to what is a pretty standart japanene fanservice scenario.

I was saying that this seems like an over reaction for a basic horny japanese fanservice scene (it's also pretty mild as far as these fanservices go). With how he was leading up to the reveal of the lap pov scene I was thinking it had to be something like rap* or some shit based on his reaction. I just think it's funny how ppl tend to over react to fanservice, you can just say you don't like it and move on, but they usually make a big deal out of it.

The game play is primarily Slay the Spire -like; "Break" is their take (IMO an improvement) on Spire's "Block" (blue cards, dude). Unlike some other Spire clones which fail to stand out enough and feel inferior and bland (for one who has played hours of Spire), this game adds many interesting elements to the formula, and the game seems very well crafted. You can dodge enemy attacks (and need to take aim) just like Cobalt Core, except that instead of needing dedicated move/evade cards, here every card can be used as a move with no cost. It seems that the card effects are designed so that it is easier to build a strong and wild combo deck than Spire. Above all the map route and position (territory control) aspect is quite unique: the "random buff" from a card (any card including non-Muse deck cards) placed in an adjacent area includes "+1 cost", "+2 draw" or "+3 Burst and +30% attack", which are very strong buffs!

Thanks for the in-depth look at this interesting roguelike option. MMBN series will always be the GOAT, but maybe this is worth a try!

This is basically Inti creates bringing back the Megaman series with their own characters. Mighty no 9 (well inti helped comcept make this so it counts) - Classic Megaman. Gunvolt - Megaman X/Megaman Zero Card-en-ciel - Battlenetwork I hope Inti beings back Megaman legends in some way. Then at least we can have the spirit of the cancelled legends 3 back, I mean I cold do with a legends successor, and no, not Red ash.

I may give it a chanse and get the demo, but there's a few things i'm considering: is a Rogue-like... and i'm a completionist... so i know that i'll keep playing until i get every single card, upgrades and collectables on this game... so it's gonna take me some time to complete it

Okie am getting this, i was disappointed at first that it wasn't a MMBN clone but i still enjoy deck builders like this ones especially one the let me construct a deck and test it if it is good before actual(important) combat

Gameplay looks interesting, art is top tier (MC has to grow on me though. Looks like all the Yugioh MCs after 5Ds, which I didn't care for.) Gonna keep an eye out for this one.

Yeah this isnt what I thought it was and can do with put the heavy fan service, but I still think this sounds awesome. I like strategy games, and this seems awesome. I hope we can get a physical copy with both games in english. I do try to collect inti games physical!

Correction, the card battle system of this game is closer to that of Slay the Spire, down to the energy cost system. Comparing it to Magic and Yugioh is a weak comparison. No offense, I just want to avoid some people misinterpreting the battle system who don't know better

And "Break" is just a modified (IMO improved) version of "Block". And in this type of games, broken combos is the norm and is actually desirable.

While I love the sprite work from Inti Creates's games, I am not a huge fan in how they design female characters... with all the fanservicing. I still remember how Eve's chest kept increasing from title to title. I liked her design in BMZ 1, but then... big boobas in 2 and even bigger boobas in 3... from nowhere!

Yea..I just cant take the designs of the characters man. I've never really like Inti's characters either in a lot of their games. Still hope people enjoy it but man I just do not vibe with it.
