Start with Fade Bright first. You may see the results you are looking for with just daily products. However, if you opt for a peel. You do not want to apply acid to any areas that are moist. Use Vaseline as a barrier to protect the moist areas. Use with caution. ;)

Hello, sorry I'm not English but if I understand correctly I can use Fade Bright Lightening for 2-4 weeks to prepare the skin, and then use a stronger lotion like Lactic Acid 50 Peel to peel the skin which is going to make it lighter/clearer, right? I normally have skin that is between white and "tanned" but I think my hyperpigmentation is hormonal, that's why I would like to use this. Will it have the same effects as in an institute? I guess not but I prefer to ask ! Thank you very much for your response !! :)

For darker skin .. or those looking to lighten hyperpigmentation, use a melanin inhibitor DAILY for that. It will help all on its own. You can do a peel if you wish after the prep/daily product usage. Lactic 50 or Mandelic 40 are great, milder acid choices. Yes, there are spas and such who do peels. I think they may be using a jessners or TCA .. of which you could as well ... but, you have to be careful to NOT get PIH from being too aggressive. STart with dailies and milder peels. This is NOT an instant fix. In-house or otherwise.

NO! I can't stress this enough! That is far far far too strong for Asian skin. Your skin type is one of the Most Prone to get PIH. I suggest a Jessners peel (preferably for discoloration) or a TCA 13... and ONLY after you pretreat for 4+ weeks with a melanin inhibitor such as our Fade Bright or hydroquinone.

If this is on the face ... 2-3 days generally is all you can use FB as the skin will start drying quickly and then serums will not penetrate. But, on the body the process is a bit slower (10-14 days to dry) so you can generally use it a bit longer. :) STOP at any time you feel it is irritating your skin. :) It is not mandatory. ... When you are complete with your peeling you can start using all your daily products again.

Is this for scarring? If it is you may want the 13, but if this is just to give a general refreshening .... I would always suggest to start with a lower percentage and work up. We do have a great 5% cream here: www.platinumskincare.com/lidocaine-5-numbing-relief-cream/ If you are using a milder acid like Mandelic 40 though.. it is very tolerable. Stronger acids like Jessners or TCA could have a bit of tingling ... mild sting ... but, it should be very tolerable. The skin on the body is much thicker than on the face. **Be SURE to start with a daily application of Fade Bright for 1 month if you are treating pigmenatation/darkness. Inner thighs can be more sensitive. So using a lower % is always a good choice. TCA 13 would certainly be a good option. *This also depends on your skin's coloring. If you are Fitz 4-6 group, using a preconditioning melanin inhibitor for 4 weeks is mandatory to help prevent PIH. So don't skip that.

@PlatinumSkinCare
@PlatinumSkinCare 20 күн бұрын
#1. It is very important to prep your skin prior to a peel. Fade Bright or Hydroquinone are good choices for 4 weeks. **These will also aid in lightening pigmentation on their own. So a great option as a treatment. I suggest a mild acid for these sensitive areas. Lactic 50 or maybe TCA 7 are good choices that will not cause excessive irritation. Moving forward you may be able to move up in % or choose Jessners for pigmentation instead of TCA. That is what I would have recommended.

It is always best to pretreat any skin that has more melanin in it - even for mild peels. We are all different. I have seen some end up with a mark from a very very mild peel like a Mandelic when not pretreating accordingly. We want to go the absolute Safest route for our customers ... even though it "may" not be necessary for some. The issue is you would not know until After the incident - and it is terribly hard to get Rid of PIH. So much easier to prevent/lessen its chances. A TCA peel and daily copper peptide treatments can be very helpful for stretch marks. See this: www.platinumskincare.com/scar-treatment/

A peel can be done 1x per month on the body. Just be sure to avoid any waxing when you are waiting for the skin to peel. SO ... you will want to choose another method while this is happening. Hello. With darker skin we need to Pretreat the skin to help prevent PIH. I suggest you start using Fade Bright or Hydroquinone daily on the areas that you are wanting to peel. Do this for 4 weeks. Then I suggest the Jessners peel. Start with 2 layers only! See how your skin reacts to this and then when you move forward NEXT MONTH with your next peel - you can add on 1 more layer. Continue in this manner with the layers you are comfortable with. The skin on the body takes LONGER to flake than on the face. So expect 10 days before anything is actively coming off and a full 30 days to be 100% completed.

@@PlatinumSkinCare Seriously, I was kind of joking because it sounds scary. 🥵 🔥 😂. I never thought you were asking for a selfie - it doesn’t even read that way. Sorry, my sense of humor kind of “just had to”. 💐

Hello from Philippines, I have Asian pale skin. I have been using Hydroquinone (2%) cream that also has Tretinoin (0.5%) at the same time I also use toner with same percentage of Hydroquinone & Treninoin, sometimes I also use kojic soap but I don't regularly as it is drying & kinda hurts. This is all from the same brand called Brilliant Skin Essentials. This can be bought as package. I first used it to my face then I started using it on my bikini, sometimes it hurts when it peels that's why I rest on using kojic everyday (is there anything I can do to relieve the irritation when it peels?), I live in teopical country so it is usually dump in my bikini due to sweat so I cannot use moisturizer. Since I am already using Hydroquinone with 2%, would that be enough as melanin inhibitor although the barnd that I am using has tretinoin and alsready caused peeling? I am thinking on starting on Jeesners or Glycolic 20% for every two weeks, I am planning to also do this to my leg oarts that has scars, my face maybe and to my underarm before moving to 50% or stronger percentage. Can I still use the toner I am using that has Hydroquinone & Tretinoin once I started with the Acid peel. May you suggest the best Acid peel for my hyperpigmentation based on my case? What percentage should I start with, can I apply it every two weeks or what would be the best time interval & when can I increase the acid percentage after starting off with 20% on glycolic or I can do jessners? Or just whatever acid & percentage should best for me to start for my face, underarms, legs and specifically on my bikini. I never wore bikini and I am in my 20s and I seriously just want to start enjoying my body. Thank you 💐

Jessners is 1x a month generally. Start with maybe 2 layers your FIRST peel. Next month you can do 3 layers. Work UP like this as your skin tolerates. Always use your HQ in between peels!!!! Very Very important with your Asian skin. SPF 50 and covering from the sun. Glycolic 20% is super super mild. That could be done 1x per week .. maybe more. I don't think that will cause any dryness or flaking at all. :) You need to continue with your HQ prep always. This will help to protect you from PIH when you do a stronger peel. Be more gentle with the bikini area. I would be using the HQ there continuously. Mandelic 40 or the milder glycolic is a great option.
