What an absolute gem of a record player! It really is quite a beautiful record player that has stood the test of time. It sounds amazing as well, really amplifies the details of the song and plays smoothly. Great find and great video!

I bought An RC80 Steve. This time I told the seller to double Box mark the thing as “this side up” ect. I hope the only thing wrong (other than me having to provide a headshell) is Garrard grease and nothing physically broken. I can’t believe how close I was form getting the turntable that satisfied my 78rpm needs only to be as Radiotvphononut says: Cream puffed by United States Parcel Smashers

@@ThePhonographStopand it showed up in one piece! Far better packed. As for the turntable, I have to replace the motor mounting grommets and maybe it will work after that. Nothing seems stuck but the thing can’t cycle properly unless new motor mounts are installed.

And now Due to USPS it needs a replacement tonearm connector. I have never felt this heartbroken over a damaged EBay item in almost 6 years Steve. 😞💔☹️
