The four counter balancing cargo deployment cranes are an interesting innovation! And it looks like the Blue Moon only uses four propellant tanks. Boeing's Altair descent stage for the Ares V had eight propellant tanks.

That actually looks like an extremely practical platform for a range on Lunar missions. Swap the Micro & Mini-Sat launchers for more storage. The Quad Rover and Crane system could be adapted to something like Mars Insight with 1 large crane and multiple instruments. I like it!

Stephan Baxter book "Moon Seed" involved a combined US/Russian moon mission using "put it together as fast as you can hardware'. The lunar lander carried two astronauts to the surface. It consisted of a lander platform with two seats bolted on top. The crew wore their spacesuits on the way down. For a moment there, when watching this, I thought those were chairs on top. I had a look at the Blue Origin website. That lander is about 3 m high! You don't get the sense of scale in the animation.

Is there any project to bring the lander back? How far are we from producing fuel on the Moon?

João de Carvalho it depends, I can’t remember if the ascent stage is separate or not, but for now this seems to just be a lander. The plans to produce fuel on the moon are going through NASA probably though, with the sls project. They plan to extract water (ice) from under the surface and separate it into hydrogen and oxygen, which is one of the best possible rocket fuel combinations. As for blue origin, I’m not sure of their plans for fuel, because they might not need any on the lander.(not sure if it’s being used for ascent stage)
