Please help with Autel Evo 2 Pro 6K: 1) How to set the memory of A and B buttons so that after turning off the controller it still remembers previous settings; 2) How to set the Waintpod so that the drone flies along the route but sideways, not forward I am asking for a video tutorial or for software updates.

I have the smaller one for my Evo 1 and it works OK. I flew the Evo 2 for the first time today all stock and it blew away the Evo (with the 4Hawks) as far as weak video signal.

Everything I have read and heard about the EVO II Dual is that it is NOT compatible with PIX4D yet this video seems to show otherwise. Can someone confirm?

Yes, the data is compatible with Pix4D. Currently, the lens settings are manual, yet expect Pix4D to have the Evo II lens profiles in a very near update. Works great, and overall, the best we've seen outside of our large aircraft flying a Sony A7III

Can 100% attest to SMG's statement above. Image sets of the EVO II are most definitely compatible with Pix4D Mapper. Mapper is camera agnostic. Pix4D folks are aware that the lens profile needs to be added. The Pix4D React team has also confirmed that React will soon support the EVO II lineup. Pix4D Capture is not compatible as of yet.

Very cool, I am so glad that my first Drone, was the Evo pro 6k, I hope someday to upgrade to the Thermal camera, until then ,I will try to enhance Signal Strength, and wait for a smart controller, and more great updates. Thank you Autel. God bless 🙏

Hey Autel , great drones and all but you're lagging with advanced function video tutorials. You need more than just how to change props or link your controller videos on your support video page. How about HOW TO DO MAPPING, or HOW TO HYPER LAPSE, ETC, ETC ! ! Also, when is the dual Thermal / 8K camera going to be available as an accessory going to be available ? ?

The SMG team has been working with these UA since late December, as a part of the alpha and beta processes, hence the deep knowlege and experience with them. We also did a video on the Mission Planner updates, before the 8K shipped.

@WildlandDonkey You'd be correct. That's a 4Hawks, used in heavy microwave environments where other UA simply cannot fly without some reaction or another.

With the Surreal prices offered by autel robotics to its products it will probably be almost impossible to reach or even surpass the DJI manufacturer's level in relation to DRONES. If you continue in this exorbitant value footprint, you will be forgotten like many other companies.

Its a smart move really. The Mavic 2 enterprise is severely flawed with a low res FLIR cam, the Evo 2 Dual has similar abilities to Dji's XT cams flown on Matrice models

Autel, why are you advertising a surveying and mapping drone with a linear rolling shutter and why can't you or DJI give us a global shutter? I'm really curious as every surveyor I know is using an old phantom 4 pro. We all want something new and this isn't it.

It's not ITAR at all. The Boson sensor is Dual Use, not ITAR, so no idea why they say this.
