We should also be doing better to teach kids (and parents) about Internet safety, and finding better ways that kids don't mix with adult spaces on the Internet (something that is the opposite of what KZbin does with KZbin Kids, so that KZbinrs don't have to go through extra measures to make sure their adult/mature-intended videos* don't accidentally end up on KZbin Kids). Also, monitoring kids' Internet usage/exposure is a must, but unfortunately there's parents that are either unaware of their kids' online activity, or kids being easily able to go behind their parents' backs to go online. 0_0 *By adult/mature-intended videos, I mean educational content for other adults, like history lessons or some DIY. Unfortunately, advertisers worried about marketing and algorithms being trigger-happy with demonizations don't help either... 0_0

You should reach out to Ricky Garcia! He was on Disney channel. I’m friends with him and his wife. He was abused by his manager for years. When he finally came out about it, a good amount of fellow actors turned turned their back on him… even though some of his band mates and co-stars came out to back him up with what they witnessed. Of course, his ex manager is still in the business and working with children.

First off, let me just start by saying I can't even imagine dealing with all of this on set. I've been a performer since I was 4 and I've had enough mental health issues throughout my life. The bodily autonomy issues I struggle with are crippling as is so I'm so grateful that someone from Hollywood is now starting this conversation. Second off, I'm an early childhood specialist. I've worked with kids my entire life, and by the time I was able to choose a college degree program I knew that I would never be teaching in public schools. There is 0 space for social/emotional development there, so I chose the development track... and you're 100% right. Children needs laws to protect them and all 6 of the development domains should be equally prioritized in those laws, in the public school systems, in Hollywood, and everywhere else in between. I could go on for hours about child development and the society we live in but I digress. I just wanted to show up and let you know that I'm seeing you, I'm hearing you, and I look forward to following your guidance on how to act on this.

Do I believe that Hollywood is demonic especially to child stars? Absolutely. However, lately, I don’t trust Alexa Nikolas. I obviously don’t know her personally and I don’t know if she still does this, but she’s associated herself with people that have been proven to be liars in one situation or another. At least based on the evidence I’ve seen from each side. But hey who knows? I could be wrong in the end
