Jess, when you park your trailer at your new property please do some preps so mice don't make themselves at home in your new rv since there won't be movement in it while y'all are not there. We always get Irish Spring bar soap and place bars (opened boxes) all over along the pop outs on the floor, and Bounce dryer sheets in cabinets, closets and drawers. We also spray peppermint oil dialuted in some water around the tires of the rv when storing or parking our rv for periods of time because mice hate strong smells. Trust me, if you don't do something they'll make themselves comfy.

Or, if you sprinkle cinnamon outside around the perimeter of the MH... I can’t stand the smell of Irish Spring or Bounce drier sheets!

@@Lauradicus I had a mouse problem in my outside parked car for years and I now use full strength chili oil (Asian section of the grocery store) in a sprayer bottle. I sprayed everywhere they were chewing up tubing, wiring, and insulation from my hood. Just remember to mention it to anyone who may be working on your vehicle! They also destroyed my A/C fan a few times by drying up inside and making big noises! I also detest the Irish Spring smell! Achoo!

Peppermint oil,, does work quite well, just be careful with putting it on or near tires. Essential oils will disintegrate rubber, and anything synthetic, such as plastic, polyester, nylon, elastic, ppe, etc. Even if you don't put it directly on them, overspray of any essential oil, will do the same. Hopefully, you've got covers on your tires. Check them before hitting the road again, just to be safe.

My mother used to suffer from frequent migraines. An old family doctor prescribed Empirin (an aspirin), an ice pack for her forehead and mustard powder in a warm foot bath. Explanation was that the aspirin helped to relieve the headache, the ice pack helped to reduce any swelling of blood vessels in the head and the mustard water (don't put too much in it or it'll get HOT) created heat that helped to pull the blood away from the head and down to the feet. Mom once had a headache for over 2 days and when we tried this, it was gone within 10-15 minutes. It took another day to get totally well, but it worked. I remember getting the mustard water bath for her. It was about 50 years ago...

I get migraines every other month or so, usually couple days before having my period if i have been stressed, dont sleep or eat well or i spend a long time under the sun. Something interesting i found out was that my husband smell helps me (he always smells really nice and that makes me happy). One Time i was having one and he hugged me and the pain just dissapeared so now when im going trough one i just take deep breaths on his chest. I read that migraines are caused for an estrogen change so i guess for me being with him makes me happy and feel good and produce estrogen 😅

Caffeine and potassium can help for migraines. Also pay attention to small headaches, or weird vision issues. I get "auras" that tell me that a migraine is imminent. Anything thing you can do before the onset of pain will reduce and can help avoid the full migraine. Hope all the advice helps.

Read the book "Your Body's Many Cries For Water" by Your Body's Many Cries for Water by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D. SALT is what you need for your body to utilize water efficiently at the cellular level. Not white processed table salt which is actually poison, but Pink Himalayan or Celtic Sea Salt that have valuable trace minerals in them.

Peppermint essential oil in a carrier oil in a rollerball bottle. Apply around the hairline completely around the head. Reapply every hour or 2. The Excedrin migraine is great, sometimes I have to alternate doses with Advil cold and sinus medication. Ice pack on top of my head and go to bed in a dark room. Weather changes often bring on my migraines. Blah. Nothing worse.

Fluids and sleep are the best. Caffeine can actually help, so some black tea or coffee can actually do you good. I tend to get them where there is a lot of pain and sensitivity in my eyes- so I make rice pads and keep them in the freezer. That way you can put a cold pack over your eyes to help with some pain. ❤️

I work at a health food store and we have a migraine protocol. It is magnesium, valerian root and vitamin B6. If you take these every day as instructed on the bottles, migraines will be less in number and more bearable. Not 100% foolproof, but a good place to start. We have a lot of happy customers. 😎 Also, make sure you are staying hydrated.

Drinking water does not hydrate you as well as eating raw fruit which contains perfectly balanced, perfectly pure water. If the truth be told, most of our diet should be comprised of pure water rich fruit grown in Nature. Cooking food - especially baking and frying and grilling removes all the water and just helps to dehydrate us not to mention the huge reduction in nutrition that takes place.

Dehydration due to more coffee than water, or allergy meds that dry me out, are usually the two culprits for me. Sleep and ibuprofen is the only thing that helps for mine. Sometimes NatraBio- Migraine tablets help, they're homeopathic meds. Pretty inexpensive and worth having on hand.

I have found that the first day after the migraine eases I feel very very fragile inside. Not that there is anything wrong at that point but it's my body saying we have been through heck so take it easier and dont rush back into normal for a day or two. I have learned to pay attention to that fragile feeling! Fluids, sleep, cool damp wash clothes for my face, dim or no light at all and no sounds above a whisper and then be prepared to throw up towards the end of the cycle are my indicators and how I treat it to get through it. Hang tough, it's probably just the mountain of stress you all are going through right now Try to take it a little easier on yourselves through all of this :)

I have had migraines for years from nerve damage when I broke my neck. I take anti-inflammatory medicine, but you can use Naproxen over the counter and I use gel packs on my eyes but what does the real trick is I have a spot in the bottom of my closet where it is dark. I make a little bed down there and block out all the light. You may not have to go as far as the closet but most people don't know to use the anti-inflammatory and cold packs on eyes. Darkness is my best friend when the migraines come. lol . I hope you feel better and they don't come back. They are brutal. God Bless you.

I get a form of migraine that causes vision problems. I find that increasing your water intake can really make a difference in preventing migraines and although it is important to speed your recovery, it will not get you functioning if you need to ; for instance...see. I have found that therapeutic grade peppermint essential oil applied to the back of your neck on the area of your brain stem and your temples and forehead ; then applying a hot washcloth really helps. I find that my vision is restored in about 15 minutes. I usually have to repeat the process some time later in the day, but that usually takes care of it enough to function somewhat normally.

Caffeine and dark chocolate are a go to, also chocolate milk is another along with what you did, ice and massage help. Avoid certain foods are also something you can look into. Mostly processed foods are a trigger with stressors. I know you eat extremely healthy, but believe it or there is actually a list out there. I was shocked. I go through phases with mild to moderate migraines. What works for me is extra water, extra sleep, a high protein meal, and I drink a real sugar Pepsi or coke as early in the migraine as possible. Something about the caffeine and carbonation helps. I don’t drink a lot of soda otherwise. And I cannot drink diet sodas or eat anything with artificial sweetener - that triggers migraines for me.

Migraine symptoms can last 10 days, its horrible. I also call it a migraine hangover and for me it usually lasts at least 4 days of extra tiredness, mild headache and nausea. I always eat a banana and get some electrolytes in me to help balance my system, especially in my Florida summers. Whenever I get headaches I have had to force myself into the habit of taking tylenol as early on as possible and that seems to be the most effective way to nip it in the bud before it gets severe.

In addition to fluids, I sleep or at the very least lay down in a dark and quiet (preferrably silent) spot. I ice my head, neck and back to numb the pain. I also use acupressure points. 1) I take either hand. Using my opposite hand or a volunteer, I press on the flesh in between my thumb and index finger. I hold for however many seconds it takes for the pain to dissipate 2) Using my thumb, I press on my forehead literally between my two eyebrows. 3) I press on my temples ( where my eyebrows end) 4)Using both of my hands, I use my thumbs to press on my flesh where the base of my neck meets my head. TIP: When you touch a "sore" spot, you found where you need to press. Hold pressure for a few seconds. Release. Repeat. 5) From # 4 I flip my wrists and turn my hands down. I squeeze the top of my shoulders and even the back or sides of my neck. Every migraine is different. Not all of those points will be sore to the touch. When you find a spot that's sore you've found a point that may resolve some if not all of your pain. Blessings

Migraines.......ouch!!!! I have had them for years 35+ years that I can best figure. For me, I used to use prescription Immetrex but I started noticing "rebound" effect meaning I was getting migraines more often. I now use an over the counter generic medication (combo of tylenol and caffeine). If I take something before it gets too bad, I can continue with my day. Normally, I have eye pain over one of my eyes, neck tension, sensitivities to light, smell and sound known as auras. Migraines can be triggered by foods, lack of sleep/stress, hormones, red wine. Sometimes, I will drink a pepsi and take my over the counter medication. I also use an icy hot roll on to my neck (the pepper mint smell is soothing). I stock alot of Gatorade in the pantry as well. I used to deal with migraines almost daily but then menopause came and they seemed to go away, for the most part. Now I get aura migraines, I see Auras but don't always have pain. Try to catch your migraine before they get really bad and I know you're mostly natural but the only thing that helped me was motrin & tylenol together (ER doctor advised this as I was in the ER getting shots almost daily, saved me from having to go to the ER). Other choices like topomax and the shots were out of the question for me. If you go tylenol motrin route try to be proactive and catch them before they got so bad that you get sick, once you get sick chances are the meds won't stay down. Other things that help are a really cold dark room and ice packs (some people say heat, but heat is what causes a lot of mine). They are horrible. I'm glad you're feeling better today and hope you don't get another one, stress can contribute to them as it throws out a hormone, for me it was hormones and I'm glad I know longer have those hormones so don't get them very often, thank the good lord! :) I'm excited to see your adventure and can not wait. Love your show.

Migraine sufferer here for years I have to take meds as I get 3-6 migraines a week... Medication eases the symptoms of mine but I've changed my diet , got my daiths (ear cartilage) pierced, added some natural remedies and see a neurologist. I use cold packs on the head , heat to the neck , fluids lots of electrolytes if I can I'm nauseous and vomit with mine therefore my meds are taken nasally during and meds daily before a migraine ... Lots of sleep , if you can , dark room and no noise . Migraines are so debilitating, you lose a lot of time and living with them . Mine have amped up recently due to a car accident and concussion but with assistance from my Dr and meds I had gotten mine down to 1-2 weekly which is awesome as I had suffered with the migraines sometimes for 2 days in row and after the migraine you have the migraine hangover 🤕... lots of lost time ... Good luck to anyone dealing with them I hope you can find some relief... Awesome video as always 🌻

My brother actually figured it out. He put a big pot of water on the stove and set it to boil. The steam put moisture back in the air and stopped my headaches. Very rarely get them now. If I start to feel a headache coming on I quickly take my Ibeprofen and get the water going before it gets going to hard and I can't stop it. Also make sure u eat and drink water. I can usually stop them and now very rarely get them. Rubbing a ice cube on that throbbing vein in my temple would help too. The tramadol the doctor gave me didn't really help me so I just threw them up anyway. Like I said for me it was a moisture thing that was triggering mine. Everyone is different and have different triggers. But heck give a whirl. Might help you. GL.

You're right...us grannies and pappies, are lookin' out for you. So here goes.... In addition to plenty of water, and sleep in a very dark and quiet room, there are a few other things I keep in my migraine arsenal, after 58yrs of suffering with severe, debilitating migraines. 1. Ice packs!! I cant live without the reusable, fabric-covered, squishy blue gel ice packs from Walgreen's. (Often used for sports injuries.) The 4"x8" or 5x10" size, fits perfectly on the forehead or back of the neck, and their softness doesn't add an extra sharp irritation most migraineurs find intolerable. I keep a perpetual supply of three, in the freezer in individual ziploc bags. (If you don't bag them, they pick up odors from foods, which is also intolerable.) Also, keep them flat in the freezer; you'll thank me later. They don't take up a lot of space in the freezer, and they're ready to grab on the way to bedrest in a dark room. Having three at the ready, means they can be rotated in and out of the freezer during a migraine, without any lag time in between, or too much effort. They are squishy enough to lay on if desired, conform to body contours, and soft enough to even use as an eye mask to block light. Invaluable! 2. Frozen carbohydrates such as ice cream, sorbet, frozen fruit. Carbohydrates assist in boosting the speed and effectiveness of pain killers, (an old nursing trick) whether they be otc or Rx. Besides, if you're experiencing nausea as a co-symptom, small portions of something cold and soft, tastes really good. (Cold and mushy are a theme here...lol.) 3. Speaking of pain killers and boosting their effectiveness, caffeine, is a very old, but effective remedy, still found in many Rx meds, but easily added in other forms. 4. Soak in a hot tub of Epsom salts. Many migraineurs have a lack of Magnesium in their blood, and this is a quick way to get it into your body without having to ingest another pill. This also applies to menstrual cramps. 5. I pray you never experience another migraine, but if you find they become more frequent, taking the herb Feverfew (easily grown in your garden) daily, at 2week, on/off intervals, works as a preventive for some people. 6. When taking any kind of painkillers, try adding a motion/travel sickness medication, even if you're not experiencing nausea. It too, aides in reducing pain, and helps you sleep. I go to Walgreen's, and get their generic of Dramamine, called meclizine. It's labeled as Travel Sickness, but get the chewable...not the one you swallow...it's more effective for some reason. I'm sure that because you lead a healthy lifestyle, you try to stay away from medications, and I am the same in this regard, but there are times medical intervention is a Godsend. 7. Last, but best....keep some Frankincense essential oil, and Copaiba Oil on hand, even in your purse, and apply to pulse points, forehead & temples, and at the base of the skull. This has stopped many a migraine in its tracks, for me, and both essential oils are excellent pain modulators. I've even been known to put them under my tongue when desperate and suffering with severe pain. You can combine them in a rollerball bottle of this is something you find yourself turning to often. Lavender, is also soothing and relaxing, and can be added to that Epsom salt bath. I hope this helps. Migraines, true migraines, are a beast! I think a lot of people mistakenly believe they've got a migraine, when it's actually just a bad headache, often sinus related; which can be quite brutal, as well, but is a very different animal. I keep this migraine meme on my phone, that shows the difference between a common headache, and a migraine. It's a picture of a little Goldfish on the left, and a Great White Shark on the right. I continue to pray for you all, during this time of transition and uncertainty. God bless you abundantly.

I unfortunately have tons of experiences with migraines (for more han 30 years), and last 7 or more I rarely need to use painkillers as i figured out how to stop them pretty good, but it changes. Say Niacin 1 g sometimes works wonders, and sometimes doesn't. 'Magnesium 800-1000mg sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. Wood betony tincture, usually mixed with scullcap, blue vervain, motherwort, feverfew, Jamaican dogwood -taken at half teaspoon every 15 minutes until pain stops. Nebulized magnesium plus B6 (injection would be better, but good luck finding doctor who will do it). Tricky part is to take these things before nausea becomes bad, then oral stuff might not digest and won't help anymore. There are many reasons for migraines. Unfortunately one of my reasons is eggs. I love good eggs, but if they give me migraines, I won't eat them. It also could be coQ10 and B2 deficiency, magnesium deficiency, low blood sugar, high insulin, hormonal disbalance such as high estrogen and low progesteron, food allergies. Stress makes any of these worse.

Migraines - what i do is take a drop of the doterra copiaba and put it on my thumb, press it to the roof of my mouth, same thing with frankincense. then if needed, a drop of peppermint on my wrist and lick it. its intense! and take a deep breath! if this is in the beginning of the migraine it take that badboy right away. Also, drink a large glass of water and spend about 15 minutes in a quiet dark room if it is lingering.

Get your blood pressure checked. A significant change in your life (like an upcoming interstate move) might be driving your blood pressure upward. People who have migraines, and later develop high blood pressure, often see their migraines completely disappear after they start taking prescribed blood pressure medications. I recommend talking to your doctor. At the very least, she, or he, can rule out high blood pressure and discover the real problem.

You may have been able to completely get rid of the headache by giving your sinuses a good Neti Pot cleaning with sea salt and water to empty out the inflamed mucus in your head. I have found it works even for really bad tooth pain. If the truth be told, inflammation and resulting pain is caused by acid wastes. Acids burn and burning hurts. To get rid of the pain long term we need to stop eating the acid producing foods ie dairy, eggs , animal products, starches, grains and legumes and a lot of cooked foods and replace those with water rich alkaline producing raw fruit and tender greens.

As Julie-Anne says, inflammation is key. Once I changed my diet to eliminate sugars, grains, dairy, soy, ... I had a lot of inflammation... my migraines have been very rare, and I don’t have to rely on medication. LOVE your camper! Mine is definitely my happy place! 🥰 BTW. I have a outback kargoroo. Oh Jess... I am 70 yr old & have dealt with migraines since I was in my 20’s. The best thing to do is to go in a dark quite room , lay down & put an ice pack on ur head/ face. I know u r a regular coffee drinker, but caffeine will help. I don’t drink coffee, but when I have a migraine, my body craves coffee. I think it is because it knows the caffeine will help. Migraines r usually caused by a dilation of the blood vessels in the brain & caffeine is a natural vessel constricter. So it makes sense. Excedrin migraine is about the best otc u can use. But if u start having more of them there r some new prescription drugs that really work great. Nurtec is the best one I have found so far. I use a monthly shot to control the migraines. But they also have a pill form that u can take. But hopefully u won’t have any more. Does anyone in ur family have migraines? Cause they r usually genetic. If not... u probably won’t b pledged by them chronically. I will pray for u child. I would hate for u to have to go through life with chronic migraines. 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Luv u🥰
