What's up fella and lady, I've never had goodluck with POR15 , always peeled within a yr. Now I use Rustoleum Enamel "Oil Base" mix in some Boiled Linseed oil, shot glass or 2 depending on how much u are gonna use that day. Brush it on, it dries perfectly flat, unbelievable! Not a brush line anywhere, and the Linseed oil stops the rust in its tracks! Will not keep rusting underneath the paint like por15. Sand a piece of metal clean, dab some Linseed oil on it, let it dry, then leave it out all winter, check it in spring, there will be no rust! Stuff is awesome!

Any rags u use for clean up of Linseed oil, leave outside to air dry, or burn them. They say a balled up rag will spontaneously combust, so they say. So I dont leave rags anywhere after I'm done, I burn them

Hang on to the old cab, GM has the antitheft built into the ecm, you'll need the key and switch and possibly dash cluster and body control computer to get the engine to start and run. Lot of that stuff is all interconnected thru the CANBUS network.

I don't think swapping the cab is going to fix problem. you're going to have to swap ignition module before it will start. Not sure. Use the 6.0 computer and ignition module.

FFS, didn't you learn anything from Pug? These truck restorations should be milked over a 2 - 3 year period. Getting this much done on one video will never get you the views needed for a Google check.
