I have the same and put a passing gear switch on it. I have nicknamed it ludicrous speed. I have to measure the speed is with P.K.E. Meter. It’s a rough estimate but I’m getting just under the supernatural limit. I know amazing. The only place I can test it is at my oceanfront property in Arizona.

Do you think you could use a faster burning powder for a double-hypersonic round? It would even be less expensive because you'd only need a 2 position switch (standard hypersonic and super-duper double hypersonic). So you could load 3 bullets.. with one bullet per setting.. Lob the subsonic in, supersonic at a little lower trajectory, and then shoot right at it with the hypersonic.. and have all 3 hit the target at the same time. Nice!

Now, figure out a way to move that selector switch to the trigger area. I believe it will be more useful there than on the cartridge. That way, you won't have to pop the mag to change speeds.

First round I ever shot of y’all’s was on a armadillo in my yard was very curious what damage it would do I’d been carrying it in a .38 revolver here and there for self defense but anyway the round sounded funny and I opened it and it was a squib I’m so glad it wasn’t a self defense situation I understand this happens but it’s literally the first time it’s happened to me now I’m second guessing the rest of the $30 rounds. I wonder if one could use a really light, for a .308, projectile to get something much faster then traditional velocities. Maybe 50 or so grains and a fast burning powder. Perhaps even pistol powder to really get that bullet moving. I know this has been done using 9mm with a 50 grain bullet to get to 2000 fps

Just use 50BMG, with a 5 position selector switch. @ 25,000+ fps, you can shoot one straight up and it will leave earth's orbit!! If you aim carefully, and account for the wind speed & direction - - and the coriolis effect - - you can snipe the ISS!!!!!

Make a good seal at first then burns off letting the pressure to bypass. Kinda like a space shuttle, wastes alot of energy but goes fast and looks cool lol. Hopefully I can get a new chronograph soon

Man if this was a real thing this round would be nuts A 308 load would push a 180gr round at about 2560fps that would give you about 2620 foot-pounds of energy no slouch yet you push that up to 5280fps aka over double the velocity you get a extreme increase in the projectiles energy to over 11140 foot-pounds of force........over 4 times more energy then the standard load..... absolutely crazy That's about double the energy of the 338 Lapua Magnum dam near approaching the 50bmg that's incredible.......the recoil would be to

How do you contain the gasses in the casing? With that split in the casing, I would not be trusted to just a Video without seeing this in real life. Of course after some inspection as well. How is your selector switch designed? I reload and have for years. The case can not have a split down the side with no issues firing. And what grain of projectile are you using? Wildcats boast speeds not to 5000 fps. The .17 held the record at just over 4200 fps decades ago. Then the 22-250 hitting just 100 fps faster than that. The Physics doesn't add up here.
