Steve Morris engines are proven. His engines are mostly made in house. That's going to be hard to beat. Then there is a Noonan/ Steve Morris Hemi also out there

GP Blair at queen’s university in Ireland was doing analysis in cylinder pressure logging along with exhaust wave pressures with very precise T/P sensors on four strokes and two strokes back in 1991-2 he actually wrote two books and wrote simulation software that most high end engine simulators use to this day. Apparently Americans don’t read foreign engine tech research papers. He has been a technical advisor on multiple European F1 and other engine designers and builders, camshaft companies use his algorithms for camshaft ramp opening curves. Way beyond pushrod engines.

What engine is it? I remember it's a 5.300, is it water jacketed? I don't know who makes a 5.300 water jacketed engine. I remember someone claiming it was solid block but that radiator makes me doubt it.

It’s wet, billet block, billet heads. I believe Dart built them as a prototype. When built for this car they were one-off, I don’t know if that’s the case anymore.

Love to see how it measures to real street/race cars like Cleetus, Tom Bailey, Stefan Gustafsson, Steve Morris, Bryant Goldstone, and David Schroeder just to name a few. Those guys have proven that they can drive their race cars on the street. This guy just runs to town and back for a cup of coffee.
