I build these aircraft here in Kansas, mainly the wings and rudders and the safety features built into your seat in case of a crash landing. Fun fact its 8 ball bearings pressed inside 2 metal tubes through a hole, when you press them in they get molded into the tube and will only break free with a high impact and will let the seat move about two inches of give which is supposed to help save your life in a crash. I put my blood, sweat and sometimes tears into these aircraft to keep pilots and souls on bored safe.

that's fantastic! Thank you for what you do.

I wish you could do the same working for an American company. You do realize all the fan fare is for an aircraft that's already been flying in China right?

Cirrus is one of several general aviation companies bought by China in the past `15 years. You sure you work in aviation? That's (China stuff) common knowledge.@@JB-Designs

New dual garmins, new enlarged pfd & mfd, stick shaker, flap safety, push start, lithium battery….i looked at the new brochure , all for the same price is pretty impressive . I have had my cirrus for 6 years. Soon I will have a G7 ( probably 18 months) 🤩🥳

As a cirrus owner I must say this is a bit of a nothing burger. I think this reflects well in the video that is a generic polished image advertisement that gives close to nil information on the product (an aircraft)

I own an SR22T and of all the GA airplanes Ive flown, over the years, , hands down it’s the best. First timers Ive taken up are SHOCKED at the interiors and flight characteristics of the plane. JB has it right, we all put our blood, sweat and tears into this plane, whether it be building, maintaining, owning or flying it.

Its a great plane for sure. I only wonder how many more decades before they put full FADEc in. I mean 1-2M, 7th generation, and still a mixture control?
@AdventuresonTour11 ай бұрын
Does anyone actually make a gas powered FADAC engine that would power a Cirrus?
@Tharkunify11 ай бұрын
@@AdventuresonTour i thought continental made a couple. I have flown with their io240f and I think they have a larger one available.

@Tharkunify ya, I wasn't sure. But I agree with you. It's 2024, surely by now the technology is proven enough to become the normal.

Looks like Cirrus has matched the SR cockpit to the SF Jet, great idea. That’s why they were mentioning the iPhone during the presentation. They want to ease the transition from driving/tech to flying. Great job, they’ve moved all the cockpit input to two small “smartphones/iPads. It’s no longer intimidating. 👍🏾

Im a pre-magenta line pilot who owns an SR22T G4 with an MT-4 blade prop. The standard perspective panel isnt any more intimidating than the G7 touch screens. It’s all about familiarization with current tech. All the perspective panels are amazing tech. BTW: don’t ever think you dont need considerable stick and rudder skills especially the turbo version with a 4 blade prop. When you put the spurs to it on takeoff, you’re jumping on the right rudder pedal to keep it straight, hanging on, watching the speed tape hit 70nmph / lift off then hitting the right rudder even more to counter act the engine torque, its pretty much: point and shoot climbing out and a very cool ride. The SR22T with a 4 blade prop is not a low time pilot airplane.

This comment is for the premier video (where comments are turned off): Really impressed with the new aircraft and its features - Cirrus continues to innovate in exciting ways! However, I feel the presentation could be enhanced to match the high standards of your products. A few suggestions: ironing the back curtain would give a more polished look, a wider stage could better accommodate the aircraft, and perhaps considering a teleprompter for the speaker to maintain more eye contact with the audience. These small changes could significantly elevate the professionalism of these important events. Looking forward to seeing how Cirrus continues to evolve, both in the air and on the stage!

What we really need is heated and better recline seats , a folding table , better insulation in the back , digital air conditioning and single electronic mags , 110V outlet , maybe some speed brakes, dimmable windows and turbo normalized version
