How long do they last? In the 80s ballet tights lasted for years, now they last one or two wears!

I purchased these in size M/L - they are soooo tiny and very tight. If you are not stick thin, this will give you worse muffin top than other tights. So disappointing and out $25. I had high hopes, as I had purchased regular tights several years ago with this same design and they worked really well!

Notice how the ballet dancer they use is extremely slender and the tights are over her Leo. If you wear them the normal way, they are not flattering. But if you want to try, the material is very nice and soft and looks durable.

Most women wear a leotard over their tights anyway. No gusset in sight. Seems to me it's a solution in search of a problem. Ocasionally I've seen women wearing tights over a leotard in ballet class but not in a performance.
