I dont understand why Specialized would go out of their way to make a wireless shifting only platform. It really alienates such a large amount of riders who either dont have the means of getting a wireless setup or prefer mechanical shifting. So much for freedom of choice when it comes to driivetrains. This bike is starting to look a lot like the Apple-ification of the bike world.

What if you or fox fixed coil shock compatibility with shock extenders. Id love to see how long a DHX would last on this bike before it imploded. Also, we're still doing kinked seat tubes that affect dropper insertion? Some people have long legs and wanna run 240mm of drop on a medium

so you released a rear shock to manage the fact that you put all of the weight for shifting in the derailleur at the rear axle. I'm assuming if I were to run a mechanical drivetrain on the previous generation I'd have essentially the exact same performance.

Hey Specialized folks. I own a Stumpjumper, a Rockhopper, a Diverge and an Allez. My kid has a Hotwalk. I am a well-to-do Software Engineer and I am not a luddite - but I dont want to charge batteries to ride my bike. Y'all fucked up. I wont buy another Specialized bike if you dont offer mechanical shifting support.

If this is only one negative on their bikes...I ll buy it anyway. Why? because now I have my second stumpjumper evo with GX electric and I am totally happy. Perfect geometry for everything ( trails, jumps, steep sections and climbing) when I go to bikeparks I have mullet setup and for local trails full 29. Also I thinking about cascade link

Same lifetime warranty for original owner in frames, bikes these days are all the same capabilities as specialized bikes. $6000 for a stumpjumper? You can practically Buy two canyons, yt, even trek, it’s all in the details. Wireless shifting it’s cool, but it’s expensive, need batteries, specialized not even giving you the option for cable routing it’s ridiculous in a $4000 plus tax frame only. Innovation? Looks like the like to go backwards every time.
