I agree so much because I’m a slow player in a sense I won’t go to the nether until like day 40 sometimes and I just take my time exploring in iron gear with iron tools and sometimes I won’t even build a house before I get burnt out and take like a week or two break so seeing someone playing the same way I kind of play inspires me to play so much

@@DylPyckle_I’m a Minecraft casual… seeing all the hardcore videos I’m like???? this makes no sense because I don’t play the game like this. I didn’t know anything except build a house, make tools, upgrade, go cave exploring, try not to die down there. It is so simple and relaxing to play in that way vs how I imagine the hardcore style is played as fast as possible.

@@starvationpool9982 that’s exactly how I am like I see so many people rush to go to the end and beat the game to get wings and rush to get netherite and it’s so different from how I play, makes me feel like I’m bad at the game🤣. 0:23 I think this is partly why we've loved this series so much, or at least it's true for me. It feels like you're not as concerned with what's "optimal", or "right", but you're just playing the game the way you want to play it, which is super refreshing and an amazing change of pace. This series is amazing, keep it up!

Just an idea on the gate, have one side slightly open, like split it in half down the middle and have the left side come out at an angle. Might make it feel more grand walking into the entrance of the hall through the massive gate rather than through a small door

I like this series a lot, it's calming seeing someone play for fun, not for grinding. For the gate, maybe you could add some spikes from stone walls, or something similar, at the top? I think it could break the amount of wood and add a layer of "we can protect our dwarven city".

Best series so far. I actually going to comment some ideas of mine, so... right now slowly working to build an lumberjack cabin with whole logs roof and walls out of mud/mud bricks, with log roof cellar nearby for storing food from small farms, got chicken eggs and would grow pumpkins to make tasty pies!!! Would also make some decorations such as small pond with stream flowing downhill. I hope someone read my comments from last videos. I don't have enough time to make my own projects, tried to build an large mine connected to found mineshaft underground by cave tunnels and upgrade village nearby.

Maybe a more practical step to the tiers could be a vote system for voting on the next project/build or on something similar in the next episode? Like higher tear members can vote on what's coming next or something along those lines so your upload schedule won't have to change. "Small drip leaf again? You piss me off." I was laughing so hard at that I like the gate I think the door of it could use some depth like having the door half open on one side like someone else suggested or using trapdoors to put a design on top of the lighter color wood in the middle. I also think in the towers I've seen cool builds with fire on the outside on torches (a netherack block on fire inside some stairs that pop out) would look cool on the outside of the towers instead of the windows. Then you could use the mud bricks for path texturing or maybe even in the door? I can't wait to see what you do with it(:

Run a bridge across the top of the door between the towers. Like a castle wall gate or portcullis. That'll help give the wall a heavier feel and make it look more like a fortification that dwarves would have built to keep out intruders.

Like so many others here, just ran across your channel. I can tell who inspires you because they inspire me as well. Bdubs is a whole other level because of his background. I believe he was a contractor or engineer so that plays into his thought process when building. I can see some of that influence in your builds…the roofs, for example, are awesome! Just a suggestion, if you want to find iron, you need to go up…make some leather boots and tackle those mountains, especially the ones behind your house with the stone exposed. Keep up the good work, young man and enjoying your series immensely. 😊 PS…when you see a warden, RUN!! Or build up, I think it’s 24 or more, blocks.

I really like the big door! i think the peony and sunflowers should be slightly more spaced out as the peony's are pretty full on to the eyes. I think the doors would look better if one of them was open, so like on a diagonal and use that as an entrance into the building. The winding path is a great idea, it'll help to move the eyes throughout the build. maybe try use some stained glass (grey and dark grey) for the windows? Also, if you're going for a more dwarven look consider adding some different blocks into the door like stairs in order to make it seem like its older and the wood has some broken parts, I think it will help to break up the flat wood by adding more dimension to it.

Yo! Absolutely love the series, nice change of pace from the majority of minecraft content nowadays, this series reminds me of older captainsparklez modded playthroughs. I had an idea about the youtube member hall as well I'd like to share. You could lean more into the idea of it being dwarven and add some small (or big) statues on the outside. (like Erebor from The Hobbit) The interior could be mainly open space; like a grand hall or a Viking feast hall. I love adding support pillars/columns to my underground builds, tit could be a good way to keep track of size and section off members. The contrast of stone blocks for structure and wood and other blocks for members and frames would be interesting imo. Adding a custom tree in the center would be awesome too, like a magnum opus custom tree with a skylight shining down on it. For blocks could always use chiseled deepslate, stone, quartz, maybe even nether bricks. Hopefully I gave a lil inspiration in some way!

Just started watching this series. It is seriously the best to have playing while I grind Calculus homework. Also, last episode you were talking about being close to 50,000 subs, and then saying you were surprised you were past that before the upload at 52,000. Well, I just took a glance, and you are 500 subs away from 70k. You're absolutely killing it dude. Keep it up. Makes me want to toss my homework to the side and hop on my MC world. edit: Just got to the end of the episode. For the door, I think it would look better and more ominous if you squared everything off. Get rid of the peaked roofs of the towers and find some cool way to square it off. Take the arch off the top of the door and keep it straight, but still shorter than the towers. I know you said not to try and build like Bdubs due to the difficulty and style, but my mind instantly went to the giant door he built in HC season 9. Maybe because it was so large it looked grand and ominous, but it was more squared at the top (I think the door was peaked), but I think something along those lines would make for a cool effect. Almost ancient ruins-like?

I love me some calculus, if you keep watching this series, you’ll hear that I majored in math in college lol I appreciate the suggestions for the door! I sorta did have bdub’s entrance in mind when I first thought of this build, but I almost entirely changed my mind once I started building. I think I’m just going to commit to the castle-like build style for this area. Maybe I could build a true grand entrance somewhere else!

@@ImShrammyToo Just watched the episode! I could about throw my laptop out the window studying for an exam I have today. Its a lot of fun when I know what's going on but that is hardly ever the case. Hoping for a 70%!

The straight path wouldn't bother you so much if you put a nice fountain in the center and it would help with the rather large gate door as well. Nice work I'm enjoying this series 😊

i've been looking for a minecraft survival series that focuses on building and i think this series is great because your vibes are chill, there are other creators who are too high energy with crazy editing (to appeal to a younger audience i guess), but your vibes are perfect ! and i appreciate that you're knowledgeable on the technical aspects of minecraft, i feel like i've seen other creators who do great builds but are just kind of bad at the game lol

The only part of this game that I’m truly truly terrible at is red stone. I can make a sugarcane farm and that’s about it lol

My goodness - I just click on the next video - and don't hit save or the comment button! My goodness. Oh well! Having fun watching them all. I'm gonna have to go fix my 2 fur faces dinner real quick before I start #5 back up. Maybe I'll remember to hit comment to save my comment on 5! LOL Having fun watching though. Love that retaining wall and raised shelf.
