Hearing about how the understanding of this technique evolved is super helpful. This is the best explanation I've seen so far.

Hi Mr. Hessler I noticed in your grip you were not using your index finger and thumb to create a fulcrum point for the pivot of the stick. is this also a part of "The old man's" technique ???

Watch it again, takes notes, watch at least 10 or 20 other videos on Moller technique ... then you’ll have a reference point to understand. Wisdom and enlightenment don’t come from opening a Cracker Jack box, they come from work, study, understanding !! 😊😊😊😊😊😊 This has been your inspirational speech for the day !!!!!!!!!

I have a question: For the moeller technique, your doing a whip like motion for the first fit. then your letting the stick rebound how many times you like (in case for triplets 2 times after the initial whip like stroke?)

@@misfit_94 And Jazz and Rock, and classical percussionists... This poor kid probably still walks to work... his closed mind refuses to enable him with knowledge so he’s like “ i’ve never heard of a car, so it must be a bad thing because I’ve never heard of it”. There are some incredibly uneducated, closed minded, narrow comments here. Really breaks my heart you guys. I think entitled is exactly the word to describe them. They expect everything to be handed to them exactly how THEY want.

Dude, I feel ya, but taking the Lord’s name in vein? Yes, it’s a disappointing video, but there’s no need to resort to such profanity. Remember the words of the great Mr. Van Driessen: “Being in the captivity of nature without women is the perfect way to wrestle with your manhood.” Think about it!
