I have been working with Peter and Jigsaw for a long time. His platform, trading journal, and education are great products. If you are new to jigsaw stick with it. It will click over time. If you are an experienced trader or familiar with these concepts I highly recommend this product.

we cannot hear the second guy... what did he say at 43:00 ????
@jigsawtrading10 жыл бұрын
Nor me - but it was Eddie asking a question - from a customer asking about using this live in real time. This was an educational session and not a live analysis. Someone asked if we could do live analysis there & then, so I suggested he tune in to the topstep squawk (free) on Tue & Thu at 10:30 EST.

Is the cumulative delta a chart that you open in ninja or is that an indicator you add on to the chart??

if front running and spoofing occur, is this still valid?
@ihtfp0047 жыл бұрын
YES. With front running you need to be more concerned with your broker or if you are trading MASSIVE size. With spoofing.. yeah they still happen, but as Peter asked in the video, If spoofing is risky (because you need to have the capital), why would someone do it? The answer is because it works. If you spot these spoofs now you can anticipate moves a.k.a make money.

So given what moves price up and down, what is the point of market makers? If the lack of limit order liquidity in the face of market order liquidity move the price, why do we need market makers to provide liquidity?

Awsome videos !. How about for scalping options? I am an option scalper and love doing it. The only reason I do not scalp futures is because I am not allow with my broker yet since I do not have the amount of capital required. I am only allow to buy options and that's What I am doing what do you think of this And any advice on how to use this to my advantage in options. Also I only focus on 8 stocks and watch them every day. thanks,
@jigsawtrading8 жыл бұрын
For a low capital trader, I'd avoid options because they are so illiquid. I'd look at starting out watching the order flow on currency futures but trading micro-cash FX.
@paulojustinianookubo8 жыл бұрын
+Jigsaw Trading thank you so much for your response. I really have not have any problems with liquidity since the options I trade are super liquid. For example $spy, $aapl they trade over 10k to 50k contracts a day with 1cent wide bid and ask spreads. Now I have never traded forex. But for sure I will take a look at fx. thank you !
@jigsawtrading8 жыл бұрын
OK - when you trade them are you looking at one specific strike or a series? You could watch the order flow for one specific strike or watch the order flow for the whole futures instrument. I'd be interested to see what it is you are doing - skype me on "JigsawTrading" if you want a chat - might be easier than doing it here!
@paulojustinianookubo8 жыл бұрын
+Jigsaw Trading yes I will be honored to talk speak to you via skype or whatsapp

+Jigsaw Trading i usually look at 3 strikes. 1 in the money 1 out of the money and at the money i like to trade them with a delta of 50 or higher. per every dollar the stock move ill make .50 cents.

Per 16:19 I dislike being a pessimist, but the whole purpose of the DOM is to have a better understanding of the depth of the market, and in this case Ninja Trader doesn't show the rest of the floor and/or ceiling then what would be the purpose of trading something you can't see? Presentation is great but I guess we'd have to use another platform until they upgrade their DOM.

Market profile Market depth Foot print Time and sale Order flow Market delta

They should pose their questions in writing so you can read off their question before answering it, preferably at the end. That way all the listeners can hear it. By writing out the question, it also forces them to think more clearly of what they are asking. By waiting until the end, most question will have been answered by the presentation itself, and won't need to be asked.

Hi Peter, got to you thanks to another amazing trader like Cande from TWT. I trade dax and euro futures and I would like to start incorporating order flow in my trading. Do you think they are good options to get started with order flow, provided they don't have much liquidity? Especially dax.
@jigsawtrading7 жыл бұрын
Yes - DAX is more volatile and you look for different things. The depth can be quite revealing and true momentum moves can be seen in the flow. Euro futures are a bit more like the ES - slow and steady, icebergs etc. So yes to both.

I've been reading about trading for years now.. but never really started seriously because things never made much sense to me. True that is a skill to be grown on the field, but without a firm belief on key concepts which are the foundation of any method, I struggle to find the confidence necessary to stick to a tool and grow my skills with it. (Only Volume Profile and Volfix had a grip with me in the past but not enough to convince me in making the step). Now your videos and in general OF are making more sense than any other theory I've been studying in the past. But I still struggle to build up a good foundation of knowledge that makes the theory sensible at every step. I will definitely follow nobstrading.com. yet I fear it will be already quite advanced and skipping key concepts which are not clear to me, causing the all thing not to stick to my mind. There is always a missing gear that stops the mechanism to work altogether. For instance where can I find a consistent explanation on why the price move? there are some brief explanation here and there but no one pays the due importance to it, and I am always left with doubts. There is some nice concept in this video of yours that opened my eyes more than ever before, but I really want to understand it in depth so that my brain can accept it, trust it and then work with it. Do not get me wrong, I am not looking for the solution to trading and a formula to follow systematically, I just want to have a clear idea of the rules and the board where the game of uncertainty is played.

Sergio - in the first 15 minutes of this video we explain about the consumption of liquidity being the mechanics of a move. With that in mind - take a look at kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5PThqBqlK-MjpI - this will build on that and give you some entry points WITH a solid reason as to why, momentarily, there will be an imbalance that will see more trades on one side initiating a move. Hope it helps!

Content is good, presentation is poor. 1)Your failure to move the cursor highlight along with your discussion makes it very difficult to follow where you are. 2) You go into lengthy descriptions of chart situations with no support video. Are you speaking for radio or computer graphic presentation?
