Thank you so much, LadyPoe. Welcome aboard, and as soon as possible, the first handful of videos I'll be producing will focus on 30s and 40s films and then 60s and 70s tv shows. For the time being, I'll be going back and forth between genres and eras and slowly build up my catalog of videos. I'm definitely looking forward to interacting with yourself and other subscribers and talk about classic film and tv.

You know, at one point when I was younger, I had an opportunity to work for Blockbuster for a brief period of time. It was my first customer service job, dealing with people. Needless to say, I didn't last long there but I moved on to other work. Those were the glory days back in the late 80s and into the 90s, where my friends and I would pile into the car, go to Blockbuster and check out all the latest VHS rental options. It was cool for its time. Too bad it had to go the way of the Dodo, unfortunately.

Good evening. I love Casablanca and Maltese Falcon. I also find classic American movies so inspiring for me. And I will be glad to hear some films I didn't hear early but worth to investigate. One of the first DVD... it's hard to remember but maybe it was X-men trilogy collection or maybe it was Scooby do collection.

Ah, very nice. Thank you for subscribing. It'll be a pleasure to give recommendations to yourself and others about classic films and tv series. Maybe there might be something that might inspire you to take a closer look at and perhaps enjoy. We'll all see what happens once I get the channel going.

-Yellow everyone here especially dear Larry 🥹. Yeah datzZ me outsiders style drawing photogenic pictures guy from the 'DA' 🙋. Cool for watch author 🖖😎 of the perfect sympathetic dame in the same called nutshell✌️😉. Working cabinet, the tone of a voice 🤗. Answering should to say it was pirate version of 'Flight of the dragons'🐉, very classic fantasy cartoon. It was record from the original version and had the wild translator 🤨. But I had loved it a lot😍! Almost could spell the main theme song word in the word 😌. Hope the channel will explore for me the mystery of the surrounding area around the cool painter🧏! With best regards, follower, watcher and simple friend, Warikoze 🥳.

Thank you very much. It'll be a slow but steady process, getting more videos produced and uploaded but it'll get there. It's just a matter of time, practice and getting the ideas out there.

congrats on your youtube channel. Now to answer your question, my first dvd that I bought was the movie Showtime with Eddie Murphy and Robert De Niro. I like that movie a lot. Otherwise I am a big fan of James Bond movies, especially the ones with the late Sean Connery and Roger Moore.

I cannot recall the first physical media I purchased; however, among the first VHS tapes I purchased (with my spending money) were a couple different cassettes of STREET FIGHTER II: THE ANIMATED MOVIE. I could say that I wanted to see the uncensored action scenes but that would be a lie. Pre-Internet, I was just trying to feast my eyes on Chun-Li's nude bath scene, and even the "Unrated" version had that scene cut!!

Hey there, thank you so much for subscribing, my friend. Much appreciated. Nice recollections about your first experiences with purchasing media. Even VHS in its day was something everybody looked forward to, especially going to the local Blockbuster Video and renting copies.

Please tell me you will cover hammer films :D they were my obsession when i was a teenager
@RetroEntertainmentArchive6 ай бұрын
Oh, yes, yes indeed, I will be covering Hammer Studios and their various classic horror films during the 50s and 60s in future installments. I'm also a huge Hammer Films fan as well. Thank goodness for DVDs and Blu-rays. I can watch them pretty much endlessly and never get tired of them. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are the dynamic duo of Hammer Films, in my humble opinion. 😀
