Introduction to Transcription - Robert Tjian (Berkeley/HHMI)

Tjian gives an introduction to how the cell transcribes DNA into RNA. This talk goes over the transcription machinery and ends with a great animation of transcription.

Excellent talk! The best thing I like about this lecture is the comment that "it is a cartoon that is currently in our imagination. Only a small part could be real". The true spirit for the next generation of scientists is -- never take the models from text books for granted. There is so much more to be uncovered and validated in biology.
