My suspicions that Timmy’s personality is INFP have been totally confirmed-he wanted to quit soccer and go to literature camp. :) Also, it explains why ESTJs are always getting after him-they’re opposite types, and it’s probably really frustrating for ESTJs that they have to work so hard to get Timmy to cooperate or even just be on the same page. Lol

INFP, I believe, is one of Timmy‘s two types, if I remember correctly from the old video. 🤔 I‘m INFP and my husband is ESTJ. I never liked reading when I was younger, was on swim team, and played basketball. While my husband and I do argue (like every couple), the only major time we haven’t been on the same page was child-rearing. Granted that‘s a big thing to differ on, but we made it work. But, maybe we are not typical INFP/ESTJ.😄

I agree! I always thought Timmy was an INFP, too, and I notice that people who are probably ESTJs or ENTJs (or people who “always be hustling”) get so angry when us INFPs achieve anything or know or understand stuff that they don’t because I think they think we didn’t work for it, for example ESTJ being mad when Timmy gets a promotion over him. Like dude, chill, INFPs have gifts too

I'm an introvert with extrovert parents. I was lucky though. They never tried to force their hobbies and interests on me. The only thing that annoyed me is when my dad would always ask me "Are you doing anything with friends this weekend?" like "No, Dad. I saw my friends every day at school this week. Not to mention, drowning in a crowd of other students. I need a break."

My parents forced me to interact with people. I still don't like interacting. I told them I don't like the things they do and they tell me that I'm weird (which hurts and is traumatizing for a child that is yet to be in school). They still say I'm weird and it's triggering.

But what I experienced on this christmas where a lot of different types of family were around, is that when you be the person leading the conversation and directing it to things, you don't have to talk about your "defecits". I assume your strengths are more in the political themes. Direct it there. Of course there are some divergents in this topic too, but if both persons are reasonable it is a better field of talking.

My mum gives me dirty looks for being 'too outgoing' and just being myself in public, and my parents hardly ever organise social activities so I either have to go find people or invite them round. @HQ I like the HP movies, although I like the books much more. I’ve seen some scenes with one of my favourite characters in TLotR that, for me, are soo different from the books, it feels like a whole another character. And I don’t hate that character for being that much different, although I would stick with the book version. But he gets so much hate from people who only saw the movies, and that really annoys me. I’ve actually analyzed and compared most of the scenes he’s in with the books. I actually don’t mind that Eye on top of Barad-dûr, I think it looks really cool, and it gives you the impression how far Sauron can see. Thank you for your opinion, I really appreciate it!
@lilimajor3797
@lilimajor3797 2 жыл бұрын
@HQ yes, there are many, another, for example, is that in the movie it’s Arwen who rides Asfaloth, and saves Frodo at the Ford of Bruinen. In the book, however, it is Glorfindel, and Frodo rides Asfaloth alone, and basically the whole scene is different from there… and from Weathertop to Rivendell, there is so much difference, and especially what happened at Amon Sûl. I don’t mind them, but I really like to compare these differences. Although I think that these are probably minor differences to most people, I’m sensitive to these little changes, I mean for me even the Birthday Party is quite different (but I do like that one a LOT.) As I have mentioned, I do not mind these differences that much, although I still like the books more, and I enjoy comparing the scenes. The thing that might be quite annoying about me is that I like to let these differences to be known😳 I hope the grammar is correct, English is not my first language.

But everything begins when Timmy says he’s hungry. The two polar opposite dads unite in a celebration of dad jokes. A cacophony of bad jokes erupts from the folds of their vocal cords in unison, as Timmy and Andy stare from the soccer field with horror in their eyes. “D-dad! How could you?!” Andy wails and falls to the ground, the light of victory fading from his eyes and tears streaming down his face. “That’s not even your kid!” “I know,” Introvert Dad sighs as his mighty gaze falls upon his son. “But it had to be done.” “What did the evil chicken lay?” The Extrovert Dad’s booming voice echoed across the playing field, as the crowd watched on in anticipation. “No!” Timmy sobbed, trembling. “Please, don’t do this!” “I don’t know, what does the evil chicken lay?” A voice called from the masses, sealing Timmy and Andy’s fates. Extrovert Dad and Introvert Dad started emitting thunderous laughter simultaneously, shaking the very ground upon which their sons stood in horror. “DEVILED EGGGSSSS!!” They bellowed as one, united as fellow fathers. “Noooo!” Andy screamed in vain. His voice was lost in the terrible laughter coming from each and every dad in the stadium. The pandemonium rose, and a chattering began as the noise spread to every corner of the earth. Terrible, horrible bad jokes were everywhere. All hope of redemption was lost for the children of Earth-the dads had been summoned. I had so much fun writing that XD
