I am very excited to be checking out a brand new track from my favorite band Invent Animate called 'The Sun Sleeps'. This is the first track taken from their upcoming 3-track EP 'The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was' which will be out September 23rd. With this release, they've announced that they are signed to UNFD! One reason I like channels like these is I get to know what the communities of each genre are interested in. That way, I get a feeling for culture, as well as find more commonly recommended music from people more serious about each genre. Also: love the atmosphere and ambience of the song. The lead guitar melody is beautiful.

This is really good! Guitar work as always is super interesting and the vocals fit really well for this track. I think I'm liking this more than anything off of Greyview. It still doesn't top my favourites from their first two albums but it's certainly going to be a great EP!

YES! So amazing live. I was super lucky and got to see them play with Marcus in March of 2020 right before everything got shut down. It was my last pre-shut down show and it was unreal!

First time watching your channel only to find out that your favourite band is my favourite metal band as well since 2016 (tied with Vildhjarta). I agree with everything you said about this song and the last album. One thing I'm curious if you picked up on is Marcus's lows. if you saw the recent interview he did (definitely blanking on who it was with) he mentioned that for the last year since GV came out he's been practicing his vocal range and specifically lows as there wasn't a ton of them on GV. I think he smashed it on this one and I'm so excited for the new EP with UFND!

Sadly, Greyview didnt do much for me, couple bangers but to me very skippable on my playlist depending on the mood. BUT THIS, I really like. Might be an unpopular opinion but this is much better! Looking forward for that EP for sure.

Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard! I'm not sure if you're super familiar with them or not but they used to have a , in their name that they removed. So it was Invent, Animate rather than Invent Animate. They removed the comma after Stillworld and it was this big ole thing, Spotify literally just removed it the other day gearing up for this track. There was also a shirt made for it last Black Friday that says Comma 2012-2017.
