Had a partial kite inversion last saturday, it fell on its trailing edge, flipped and somehow got partially inverted. After a minute and pulling a bit on the lines it flipped back by itself. Scary stuff, i watched this video before already and also your other kitemares and i am way calmer now when shit happens, since I already saw you go through the same or worse 😂. Thanks for capturing and sharing real life situations 👍

This happened to me in Fuerteventura. After a jump, the kite is inverted. I did the same as you, trying to untwist it after reaching it. Unfortunately I fixed it but I made an error with the lines and there were knots and I couldn't fly it. Had to swim back 400m to the shore. Horrible experience.

Wow! Had a similar situation in Medano this summer; go solved a little bit easier than on the video, though you probably heard me swearing from Maritius! 😂 Fun fact 1: it was the last session from the year (and happened to be enough for me!) Fun fact 2: and thats why I love 4 liners (I still have 2 Kites with 5 lines).

Постоянно такая фигня случалась с best kahoona 7.5m еще 2013 года. В последствии качал балонны на максимум вроде лучше было. Еще обязательно клапаны на морковках закрывать надо ! Оконьчательно решил эту проблему, продав кайт.

Приятно был осмотреть как ты выкрутился из ситуации. Уровень - БОГ. А вообще очень похоже что это происходит из за тонкого центрального балона и этот кайт напрашивается что бы его качали около 8-8.5.

мой самый большой CLOUD10.4 (прим.: они все безморковочные) выворачивает частенько т.к. на трюки он не расчитан . Но на вывернутом (если ветер слегка овердозит) хоть и коряво , но доехать можно .

At the end you ask about the inverted lines, In order to fix that you'd need to disconnect fully from the kite so you can roll the bar through itself to basically undo what the kite tangled when it inverted. The hard part on the water is it's not always clear which line you need to focus on and if there's a lot of wind, you run a high risk of losing the kite since only your hand is holding the entire pull of the kite. I've done it in a controlled setting (no wind) for practice, but if I can get the kite to fly on the water, I'd rather just get back to shore and sort it out there rather than risk losing the kite entirely out on the water. Seen it happen few times with Cabrinha kites, also last time it happened with a North kite but an old one 2016 model.

I got similar issue with an old kite but with only 4 struts (none in the middle) It happened several times when the kite was under inflated. So I always pay attention to a very good pumping. But it happened again in very gusty wind and it was so much reverted that it was absolutely impossible to come back to normal position without deflating, that I didn’t want to do on the water…

this happened to me once(with LiquidForce Solo) maybe because I pumped the kite to 8 as described, that was the last time I pumped this kite to 8 and from there on I always go to 10

Your kite definitely looks under inflated. How many PSI you put in there ? 8 should be a very minimum.

It was pumped 6.5 psi but manufacturer recommend pump this kite till 6.0 🤷‍♂️

Потому что у меня раньше уже дважды случались выворачивания такого типа. Кайт в таком положении не может взлететь. Он послушно лежит на воде. Да и ветра не было почти. Едва ли на кайт фойлинг хватало.

Вот тут не очень понятно для чего такие рекомендованные значения. если на волнах катать, где кайт может месить до рестарта, перезапустить лучше с хорошо накачанным. Я качаю 8 обычно именно для улучшения перезапуска.

​@@Prydeclub Производитель не рекомендует качать кайты до 6.0 psi, а проверяет их при продаже на этих значениях. Кайты размером от 12m и меньше качаются от 9.0 psi и выше. Пример fone bandit 12m - 10 psi

Тоже самое произошло. Дернул страховку, кайт скрутился в пирожок. Решил подтянуть его. Наматал стропы и тут началось... Подул ветер, пирожок начал раскрываться, кайтлупы. А стропы то никак не удержишь. Они раскрутились. Кайт набрал скорость. Кааак дернет... Пришлось даже использовать крайнюю страховку. Чуть не потерял чикен и трапецию. Смотрел на это видео и меня в дрожь бросило как он начал скручивать стропы

при перезапуске нельзя сильно управляющие стропы тянуть, это способствует завалу кайта на воду задней кромкой к ветру, ну и последующим перекрутом

очевидно, чтобы такого не было-надо или кайт качать хотя бы до шести psi или не катать на травящем кайте. ни разу не встречал выворачивания на neo даже самых старых версий.

Просто знайте, что такое может случиться и продумайте заранее, как будете действовать в подобной ситуации. Не факт, что мой способ решения этой проблемы безопасный и эффективный. Вот надеюсь, может кто-то ещё поделится своим опытом в комментариях.
