This video makes no sense to small retail investors who have portfolio of 2 or 3 lakh rupees. This is only valid for people who invest more than 1 cr in one go (like big ticket investments, as you said). If a small retailer miss these Modi rallies then they will never make huge money. If we follow your strategy then it will take minimum 20+ years to achieve high gains. That anyway we can make by investing in mutual funds. Better you stop advising people on what you are doing and start advising on what people actually need to do.

On a serious note, if you are looking at making profits from trading, Akshay would be worst for you. Don't listen to him at all. If only you have a horizon of 5-10 years then it makes sense. Also, he has highlighted that he is a conservative investor and his goal is to beat inflation in long term. Protecting the wealth not multiplying the wealth.

Akshat, when infra is created then heavy industries like CEMENT, STEEL COAL get benefited the most rather than FMCG. Simple reason is that logistics cost of Cement, Steel, coal etc are somewhere 20%-25% (or may be more) as compare to FMCG. Same is the case with their input costs.

It's the fundamentally strong stocks which will always grow, the only catch here is the change in the fundamentals. Ex - infra, banks and hospitality will grow rapidly. Fmcg, pharma will grow slowly. But if govt push on pharma(change in fundamental) then pharma will grow fast. Auto sector not expected to grow fast

Hey Akshat, can you explain us how PE works differently for different businesses . For eg Zomato’s PE is around 400 and it doesn’t seem overvalued looking at future earnings. But on the other hand if SBI’s PE reaches 20-25 it would be considered overvalued. So if possible please make a video on how should we think about PE for different industries.
