So I honestly don't know how long you've had a world map for your campaigns (I usually listen to you while I'm at work), but I am in absolute love with your setting. It's always awesome to see that level of detail added into a story.

Cheers Ryan! I've had smaller, local maps from day one, and slowly expanding the world as we go. I'm not always super consistent with getting them into the video however!

The wolves and humans continue to prove that it's so hard to find good help these days. Digging up good help, though, now that's a skeleton of a different color!

😄 You just cannot rely on them to eat a cavalry charge or stand firm in the face of the living dead anymore!

@@AshandStoneNZ “Eat a cavalry charge.” In the case of the wolves, figuratively or literally!

😆😉 Though lets be honest, with those wolves, it's almost certainly figuratively!

Watched this when it first came out but I forgot to comment, I’m sorry!! Yet another great video, Chris!! And I had a thought, Not sure if you remember, but I suggested maybe using Frostgrave once or twice for those ‘in-between’ episodes! Especially with this rising Human mage! Moxis and his apprentice can compete against the Human mage and maybe a Captain as they raid some nondescript ruins! :p

Cheers Mate! I do remember! It's percolating in the back of my mind, awaiting the spark to get it going. I've been mulling over fighting a series of battles beneath the Silver Mountains.... but let's not get too ahead of ourselves! ;)

I'm loving these stories, though I suppose if Moxis wins his mini-campaign if will have far-reaching consequences for the Dwarves and Humans and probably the Goblins and Elves too... Maybe. I wonder what the Lizardfolk are doing these days/

Great videos, just found these as I am getting into oathmark! Very inspiring, with those great schemes and bases.. Do you remember how many points you use in each of your campaign games?
@AshandStoneNZ Жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Lasse! I hope it gets you into the hobbying mood! From memory, Game1: 500pts, Game2: 1100pts, Game3: 1500pts, Game4: 2500pts

Just learning about this game and I got some questions 1. when the fuck are you gonna use those swan elves 2. Is pre-measuring kosher in this game? 3. Do you play these games with someone or some kind of solo rules? 4. whats the good points threshold to go from a 4x4 to a 6x4
@AshandStoneNZ2 ай бұрын
1. 😂😂 Soon! The current plan is for the next Oathmark game to feature the Elves. At last. 2. Yes, pre-measuring is absolutely fine, you can measure anything at any time. 3. I mostly play solo. I started with an "AI" but found it was just simpler and easier to just play both sides. The Activation roll is good enough to ensure nothing ever goes to plan 😆 4. I find 2000pts can be a squeeze on the 4x4 and is better on the larger table.

Where are those wolves from? Those models are lovely.

They are 3D prints designed by Warp Miniatures. I scaled them at 75% to rank up better and yeah, they are fantastic. And so easy to paint! (www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-goblin-wolf-riders-126774)

What size base are you using and which movement trays if I may ask?,
@AshandStoneNZ2 жыл бұрын
I use 25mm round bases and 25x50mm pill bases for the cavalry. The movement trays are 3D prints. If you have acces to a 3D printer, you can grab the files for free here: www.wargaming3d.com/vendor/ash-and-stone/

Are Moxis's forces not gaining exp? Sort of miss the exp tracker at the end of the video.

@@AshandStoneNZ Cool beans, that's grand, I'm just curious to see if Moxis is close to levelling up
@AshandStoneNZ2 жыл бұрын
Moxis is an interesting case here. He's halfway to getting a Heroic Trait (which is what the exp goes toward) but he's also going to be capable of increasing his spellcaster level. This will be tied to narrative achievements, so if he achieves a particular goal in the story, he'll grow in power.
@olivergunson2 жыл бұрын
@@AshandStoneNZ oh okay so gaining the next spell lvl is different to him gaining exp. That's good to know, hopefully he can achieve a goal or two 🤞
