I think GW figures' different height is deliberate, the older ones were smaller, I had a lot of them, and with the yrs they'd just started to"grow", probabilly to avoid that the customers mix with other ranges

Yes I have noticed the same 'scale creep' with the high elves too. At least the larger minis are a little easier for my older eyes to see details on! :-P

Not 100% sure but i'd err on the side of probably not due to the scale difference and the conversion work required to make them look more sci-fi. If you were prepared to do the conversion side of things then maybe the pistoliers box from the Age of Sigmar range would be a better scale starting point? Or there's the 3d prints option which could probably provide something closer tot he end product you are seeking? best of luck!

Yes I think they must have decided keeping the shields consistent with those on the infantry kit was more important aesthetically than having cavalry shields closer to those shapes historically used by cavalry :)

Work on your fluent delivery. I could barely stand listening to "uh" and "um". Your word whiskers literally took up nearly 40 seconds of your presentation. Consider working from an outline and practicing three or four times. Basic public presentation 101.
