As a criminal justice major I can tell you her being in the backseat is suspicious. It could go two ways..he knew he had a target on his back, but suggested the baby up front. People tend to think enemies won’t harm children because street code is you don’t harm women and children. Then the other way could be she knew something would happen and put herself in a safer position. The backseat. It’s really mind boggling why a person would want a 1 year old in the front seat…she’s in the backseat with a 5 year old. It just doesn’t make sense. I was brought to this country at three years old, Grew up without legal documentation. I didn’t have a choice. I remember the principal taking my brothers and I to Payless and buying us shoes because my mom couldn’t afford buying us new pairs. As a first generation immigrant I can either complain about the bad things I’ve dealt with growing up poor, how life wasn’t fair, “blame the government” everyones favorite. Blah blah blah, Instead I see it as a blessing to succeed. My single mom work 2 jobs for 15+ years and not once did I see her complain about our struggle. She always told me that my only way out of poverty was through hard work or an education. She always said rap music could influence you and ruin your life. I saw so many people choose this road, they wanted to be rappers or act like them. A lot of my childhood friends and people I grew up with I don’t speak with anymore. I’ve learned that growing up poor and becoming successful, life will welcome you with Envy from those who choose the wrong road. The ones who complain and do nothing to better themselves and sometimes harm others. God bless this country and all the warriors that keeping on pushing no matter the circumstances of the life they’re giving. Poor is another form of Rich. God Bless America 🇺🇸

@diveloved - You know that you are living the dream of most first Generation immigrants when you discuss (or “Mansplain,” like the feminists will say) your upbringing. I don't like how Rap and Hip-Hop music has evolved...don’t get me wrong. The problem occurred when the genre starting teaching knowledge to people, and the crony capitalist business (There is a difference between capitalism and crony capitalism) decided to exploit the genre. I grew up with artists like Run-DMC, Kool Moe Dee, and LL Cool J. With the exception of Jam Master Jay’s murder, none of these rap artists / groups rapped about the streets like what we're witnessing today. I grew up in the impoverished, rough, and now violent area of North Philadelphia. I had a SIMILAR upbringing, but I was born in the USA...not another country. I fought to avoid the street gangs, crack cocaine, vindictive Black men and women, and the festering bitterness to join the Marine Corps in 1986. At that time, the community treated me like they are treating you with the comments you are making about hating rap music. (Many still are treating me this way.) If you brought yourself out of poverty, great. Just don't flaunt the fact. I offer prayers to the deceased, and thank the MOST HIGH for watching the children in the vehicle. I have to bless you as well...you have courage to speak your mind - which is why I served for six years to see. I used my successful enlistment to fulfill the promise I made to my late mother. (Died on Valentine's Day 1992...months before I got out.) I wanted to be a rapper (Akin to Will Smith...Philly rapper and actor), and she made me promise to get a Bachelor's Degree in a professional field before doing that. I now have a Masters degree in Management and still listen to Classic Hip-Hop. My advice is to appreciate your efforts but not belittle others. I am called everything in the negative, including the “N” moniker. Some rap music is beneficial. (One of 9 techniques is toxic, and Rapper Kool Moe Dee discussed this in a video decades ago.)

From this Reporting, it appears to be a possible set up or he was followed. The shooter knew exactly when and where to be and at what time in order to pull off this hit. This is someone the victim knew. I wish all of these senseless killings of Jealousy and envy would stop.
